Dr. Howard Lee Kilburn, MD

The poor feedback goes the office desk lady. I received a bill with co-pay that I already made 5 month ago. When I called to ask her to double check, since I never miss any co-pay, she insisted that I should provide the record that I have paid. When I did, she was not sorry for her mistake at all. There were several bills that have nothing paid by insurance since Feb. I had to call and ask her to double check. She said there might be denial or error message from insurance company that she can check. It turns out she was using wrong insurance ID. When I was trying to figure out why it happened. She asked me just to give her the right ID...If I didn't check, I might have paid hundreds to the office that I don't have to. Few weeks back, my 8-month daughter got pink eye. So I called to make an appointment. The lady put my daughter with another pediatrician in the office mistakenly. What's worse is the pediatrician prescribe an anti-biotic eye drop that is for toddler. It was noticed by… the pharmacist that the dose is too strong for a baby and called the pediatrician to confirm. Luckily, it was replaced with another appropriate one. I never saw such an unreliable office...

This clinic offers LOTS of courteous, personal attention. The staff have all worked with Lee for years and in addition to knowing their stuff, they truly care for their little patients. Dr. Kilburn can come across as a touch on the gruff side - to parents not kids - but he is really a very caring and involved doctor who will at times refer to himslef as "Grandpa". He can be reached at any time through his [wonderful] staff, and the experience is much like I imagine neighborhood clinics were back in the good old days. I cannot recommend this clinic - and all the people in it - highly enough. You can get appointments at short notice, they are proactive in getting information to you, and will follow up on every commitment they make to you. A lovely, genuine, 'true Northwest' bunch of professionals.

Have been going to see Dr. Kilburn for years. We just love him.
