Dr. Lee W Tempel, MD

Saw Dr Tempal had to have an injection. Knew he was having issues with vision proceded to ask him to stop he would not listen which lead to a full on abesss to my arm which lead to an automatic ER visit slot of pain and out of commission for nearly 2 weeks. Worst experience ever.

He is by far the worst doctor horrible bedside manner. And should not be practicing at all

From the first appointment to the last, Dr. Temple provided excellent care for my husband. Dr. Temple spent the time in the beginning to diagnose Parkinson's with Lewy Bodies. He set up a treatment plan and would adjust as needed. My husband and I felt confident that Dr. Temple was providing the best care needed and available. Dr. Temple very kind, very patient, and concerned, spending the visit time needed...besides the fact that he was very smart about the illness my husband was living with. We talked with many of Dr. Temple's patients while in the waiting room. They all had the same opinions as we did...Dr. Temple was an awesome Neurologist! If Dr. Temple would reopen his practice today, we would make an appointment and return to see him in a heartbeat. Thank you, Dr. Temple for all you did. We miss you. God bless you.

This review is from when Dr Lee Tempel was part of Mercy Clinic Neorology: Dr Tempel is great. Very patient, very thorough and not rushing to recommend DBS right away. He listens very attentively so he knows where to adjust medication for the most effective outcome. His personal assistant for many years, Cindy, has always been very responsive. If she does not have an answer, she will contact the patient with the update that she is working on getting your question answered. The front window staff member is abrupt and seems to not care about the patient (the customer, who pays her salary. If you are 10-15 minutes late, you have to reschedule, but if they have overbooked Dr. Tempel I have waited for 2-3 hours on more than one occasion. The staff goes home for the day and you are there with Dr. Tempel and the janitor.

We are also disappointed that Dr. Tempel is no longer available at the Mercy Neur. Clinic. He is very hands on in his approach, spends as much time as necessary with his patients, exploring ALL their Parkinson,s issues, then outlines a detailed treatment plan for you. He will also see you more often (every 2-3 months) if needed. You have to wait longer than normal at his office, but the wait is worth it.

Finally, someone who is knowledgeable and diligent. Great Doctor!
