Dr. Leila Zafaranchi, MD

This lady is incredible. From the point of view of knowledge, personality, professionalism, there is absolutely nothing that she lacks. I have seen her treat many of my friends, family members, and acquaintances. Everyone just loves her and those to whom I recommended her have nothing but praise for her and appreciation for being referred to her.

Dr. Leila Zafaranchi is such an amazing doctor! Im really glad i have found her, she really takes good care of her patient and would make sure her patient is satisfied and have answered all your questions/concerns before leaving her office. Sure there is a long wait before seeing her but she DEFINITELY WORTH the wait! If you are looking for a professional and well educated Gynecologist, I highly recommend Dr. Zafaranchi. A+++

I would like to start off by saying that this office is beyond kind and caring for each of their patients. The office staff goes above and beyond in helping patients in need. Doctor Zafaranchi has the best bed side manners that I have ever encountered from any doctor I have seen before, she answers all of your questions with exceptional information. I will most definitely be one of Dr. Zafaranchi long term patient.

Dr. Zafaranchi is absolutely wonderful! Let’s face it, no one likes to go to the doctors, but Dr. Zafaranchi is delicate, caring, and answered all my questions. Everyone that works in her office is kind, knowledgeable, and very respectful. Thank you Dr. Zafaranchi and staff!

Dr Zaferanchi is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor ,, and at the same time a great friend,that’s why I am her patient for 10 years ,, I drive from OC each time and don’t really care as long as , get visited by her. Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend to women who want to be healthy and live their life ,,

I was a patient here for years. Dr. Zafaranchi is a very warm person and very put together all the time. That being said, I do not think that I ever felt comfortable here. The hugs and caring face felt a bit like a façade to me. I'm sure that this is in an effort to bond with, and ease her patients, but I was not comforted by this. In terms of environment: The wait time is always 20+ minutes in the lobby and +15 minutes in the room. She is always over booked. Be prepared to wait. Also, make sure you have at least an hour, as sometimes that will not be enough. I once had to leave because after an hour of waiting, I had not been admitted and needed to take an exam at school. There is always French instrumental music playing through the office and fresh orchids in the lobby. The staff are all very friendly and warm as well. I love the women who perform the intake and take blood samples. I have always felt comfortable with them and they have always been able to answer my questions. Calling… into the office is hit or miss. Sometimes I called and they would answer right away, and other times I had to leave a message. I would strongly suggest following up after you leave a message. They are not consistent in returning phone calls. In terms of medical treatment: Dr. Z always had acrylic nails, which can be uncomfortable (for obvious reasons). She has also misdiagnosed me with PCOS. I am in my 20s and to be quite honest, thick hair is quite common in people of my ethnicity. I have never been over weight and have a healthy diet. I only found out that this was a misdiagnosis after getting a second opinion (from a fertility specialist, as my husband and I are considering starting a family soon). They have seen and run the same tests and believe that my abundance of eggs (due to me being in my 20s) simply appeared to be cysts to Dr. Z. Other than the misdiagnosis, the medical care was efficient and thorough. I always received phone calls to confirm my appointments and the pap smears were very quick (only after a long wait). In terms of payment: I have very good insurance and preventative care is covered 100%. Every time I left, I always asked if there was a co-pay. I was always told no, but a few weeks later, I would receive a small charge in the mail. I have yet to receive a good explanation for this charge. It was always plus or minus 10 dollars, but never consistent. I have missed that staff at Dr. Zafarachi's, but I do believe I have found a better fit with another doctor and will not be returning.

Greatest, most caring intelligent doctor

The most amazing Gynecologist I've ever met! She takes her time with the patient as much as needed, I always leave her office satisfied and more confident about my health. Her staff are very friendly and welcoming as well. She's such a blessing!
