Dr. Leonard Andrew Nordstrom Jr, MD

I have practiced cardiology at Park Nicollet Clinic since 1976. My special interest has been interventional cardiology and an interventional approach to peripheral vascular disease and renal vascular disease. I first became involved in interventional cardiology in 1980. This involved balloon angioplasty of the coronary circulation. In the mid '80s, I conducted research work on laser angioplasty of the peripheral circulation and the coronary circulation that resulted in a number of published articles. I have been involved in interventional techniques, such as atherectomy and stent placement, in coronary circulation and peripheral circulation.
