Great surgeon

Very impressed that he took time with me and listened to my concerns. He was very professional and explained my diagnosis in terms I could understand.

Quiet, soft-spoken, knowledgeable,assuring, took his time with us.

Zero stars. He canceled appointment three times, I guess our time isn't valuable. Had a neck and back MRI, FOUR months later I spoke with Dr. Toussaint, he failed to show x-rays and to coherently explain my medical issues. He stated that he could preform surgery but he didn't know if he'd make it worse. I found his speech slow and eyes off. There's no way I'd let this man do surgery on me. I'm in excruciating pain, this office and this Dr did not care. I will be reporting this incident and picking up hard copy of both MRIs and praying that I find a talented well educated surgeon. Baylor Scott & White should be ashamed at this low level of care.

Dr Toussaint is so calming, intelligent and easy to talk to. I feel completely confident in his doing surgery on my spine and spinal cord.

don’t go to toussaint he did a decompression surgery on my daughter and missed she had a l3 l4 blockage on top of chairi and she was leaking right after surgery , and had to be rushed to houston to herman hospital and other doctors have to fix leak tousainnt ! left

Dr. Toussant has operated on my back and neck....I cannot say enough good things about this Dr., not only was he caring and concerned, but he preformed surgeries that that have allowed me to go on with my daily agenda. I am 82 and I still drive the tracker, feed 6 dogs and a pen full of chickens, check on our goats in the pasture. Aside from a few aches and pains t my age, the surgeries have allowed me to do things I did when I was younger. If you have had a problem with this doctor.....wow!

He did back surgery on my husband 7 years ago, after surgery he had pain on the opposite side. Dr recognized he had left a pin touching the nerve after I requested a cat-scan. He never used the x-ray machine to assure everything was put incorrectly. We where dumb to let him operate on him again. Problem never got better, I tried to get some compensation from him and the hospital and they both denied it. My husband has never been able to go back to work or walk with out the spin stimulator that he has. He changed our lives for ever, and my whole families. Don't go see this Dr. there is other options out there. If had any professionalism, we would have reached out to us and helped in some way.

The most arrogant, conceited, self-centered physician I have ever met in my life! Delivers inadequate care and I’m concerned about his surgical acuity, which appears lacking and maybe negligent.
