Dr. Li Zhu, MD

I have been a patient for 6 years and think she is fantastic. I've needed her a few times for an illness and have my yearly physical. Stay healthy!

After only 3 visits DR. Zhu has refused to see my mother as patient with no explanation. My mother lives in assisted living and has dementia. Clearly this doctor and office can’t handle someone with dementia and my mother’s needs. I work for a medical facility and I’m sickened by this and now leaves my mom without a doctor. I urge anyone with parents with dementia or living in assisted living who may need a little more care to find a doctor elsewhere.

My husband and I have been patients for a few years now and we are both impressed with her knowledge, approach and kindness the few times we had an appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Zhu for a year or so but will never go back. She recently refused to renew a migraine prescription I've been given for 25-30 years - without telling me. I found out only by calling two days later (after I'd gone to the pharmacist two days in a row, expecting - as always - the prescription to be there, but no). An assistant told me she'd refused to renew my prescription, but gave no reasons why AND offered no alternatives! Requests for specialist referrals (a surgeon told me to ask her to refer me to a GI specialist) went undone, too (without explanation). AND she sent me (for some strange reason) for a comprehensive sonogram almost two weeks ago and I'm still awaiting her to give me the results! I finally called her office last week and told them I'm moving on,. Enough is enough! This woman is bad news!!!

She is quick to rush to judgment. A solo practice. Is unwilling to listen or have a discussion because of the language limits. She is not a doctor on a mission. If you want a flu shot, she's the one. If you are sick and need help and a diagnosis. ...RUN! She is 100% flaky. I am still trying to figure out where she went to medical school and how she has a license!

I had gone to Dr Zhu for the first time a few years ago. I had been sick for sometime. She took the time to really listen to me and when there was an issue she was unable to diagnose, she referred me to other very wonderful doctors. I continue to see her and am just as pleased.

When Dr. Li Zhu first opened her practice, my wife and I were one of her first patients as we were in need of a new primary care physician. My wife had been suffering from a mysterious medical condition for which no doctor or specialist could give a proper diagnosis. Other doctors told my wife that there was nothing wrong with her and one even went so far to tell her to do yoga which would cure her. When Dr. Zhu met with my wife and I at her office, she took the time to listen to both of us as to what was happening with regard to my wife's medical condition. She then told my wife that there was something going on and that she would figure out what was causing her medical condition. After three days of research by Dr. Zhu, she called to tell us that she had a diagnosis for my wife and that her condition was very rare. Since then, my wife is been receiving proper medical treatment for her condition and; although there is no cure, we received comfort from knowing and having… a correct diagnosis. For this, we are greatly appreciated to Dr. Zhu who remains our family primary care physician to date and we hope we have a long relationship with her. Dr. Zhu not only has the knowledge and experience of a great physician, she has great bedside manner. We would never look anywhere else for future medical care for our family.

Dr.zhu is the best doctor I've ever had wouldnt even think about going anywhere else. JUST BE HONEST with her and she'll do everything in her power to help

Awful patient care . At first 6 years ago was a good dr , but ever since becoming a part of bristol net work her service attention availability has gone below all standards expected . She became irate and abusive when she was informed I would be looking for a new PC because of her limited Availability and knowledge of a surgery I had . She has been reported and a case filed against her. Her staff is rude and uninformed on many simple topics.
