Dr. Lillian Marie Decosimo, MD

Dr. Lillian DeCosimo is a board certified obstetrics and gynecology physician. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 15 years of clinical experience and extensive experience in minimally invasive gynecological surgical procedures. Dr. DeCosimo?s special interests also include Urogynecology, Menopausal Medicine, Adolescent Gynecology and Chronic Pelvic Pain. She has medical licensures in Virginia and Washington, DC and performs her surgical procedures at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and the Northern Virginia Surgery Center. She also performs many minor surgical procedures in-office. At a young age, Dr. DeCosimo was always curious about the many secrets of our human life and had wanted to explore the reasons behind these. She volunteered in high school at a Women?s Health Center and Maternity ward and from then on, it was a certainty that her goal was to become a physician. OB/GYN was a specialty that attracted Dr. DeCosimo as it allows for healthcare for women at all stages of her life?from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Dr. DeCosimo enjoys spending time with her husband and her three children, reading and practicing yoga.
