Dr. Lindsey Rentschler, MD

Love Doctor Rentschler but new office in Boulder Community Health is terrible. I am being forced to find a new doctor who has an office that responds. I have called half a dozen times trying to get answers regarding my prescription updates and lab results. Never received a call back. When I finally did talk to her PA the only answer she gave me was “I can’t answer that.” So what was the point of talking to her if she couldn’t answer any of my questions. I’m out of one medication that was supposed to be called in over two weeks ago. I keep calling and leaving messages but no response. I tried to sign up for the online portion so I caould email the doctor but no help establishing account. Parking is a joke, difficult to find office, though to get through construction, terrible signage to find right building or right office.

I've been seeing Dr Rentschler for 4 years now. I have always found her to be friendly, knowledgeable, and quite helpful.

I find Dr. Rentchler to be extremely competent caring and understanding. Having dealt with many docs over 25 years who would not listen to me nor see reason, I was at risk of a stroke due to not being on a therapeutic dose of hormone. I am grateful to her. That being said, personality conflicts can arise in any setting. For those people complaing about her bedside manner, I find the exact opposite. By all means go find someone you can work with. But this lady is awesome!

I have been seeing Dr. Rentschler for ~6 years and have never had any bad experiences with her. She has always been understanding, supported the Diabetic path that I have chosen and has suggested alternative options, with documentation, for me to consider, along the way. She has always been telling me about on going studies and devices that are going to or have recently come to market. I would recommend her to others.

Dr. Rentschler is incompetent and unethical. My husband had an appointment with her to start radiation therapy and she cancelled the appt. when we showed up at the dr's office. She didn't even have the decency to come out to the waiting room and explain or apologize. She had her assistant recommend another doctor that was booked out TWO MONTHS from the day of our original appointment. If you care about your loved one's health DO NOT TRUST DR. RENTSCHLER.

After reading some of the reviews I am surprised. I’ve always found Dr. Rentschler to be friendly and caring. I’ve never felt rushed and she answers my questions. Even though we have moved to SE Aurora, I still go to Boulder to see her.

Cold, arrogant and conceited. Just do yourself justice and dont wait weeks for a appointment and be hit in the head on your way out. Front desk staff pair well with this doctors own personality..... sad really .... to become a specialist MD and to lose your human compassion. Also dont expect this office to call you with lab result findings. You will get a cold hearted letter in the mail with them....

Poor communication skills. Not up to date on endo studies. Left for another, same result. Searching for an endo who is current on meds and imaging.All they know to do is prescribe Big Pharma ugly bad drugs at enormous prices in spite of current reports of these dangerous drugs.

DOES NOT LISTEN TO PATIENT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE HAD HASIMOTO'S FOR 30 YEARS! Fought to get t3 and t4 levels tested. Incorrect diagnosis. Aloof and condescending. No current research knowledge. A waste of your time if you want optimal hormone health - knows nothing of studies done in last 10 years re: thyroid health.

This doctor is a very poor listener and made me feel like I was waisting her time if I had questions or I didn't understand something. She is very cold and treats her patients like a number...absolutely no understanding or sympathy. She speaks very quickly and does not communicate well. She also takes numerous days to get back to a patient. I'm trying to find a much better endocrinologist!
