Dr. Lisa Marie Myers, MD

Dr. Myers is an excellent doctor. In my case she went far beyond what is routine to find several tumors and referred me to an excellent surgeon. Luckily the tumors were benign.

Cannot get calls returned. Seems only interested in diabetes; not other endocrine disorders. Shows no concern to patient’s needs. Doesn’t pay attention. Interested in money only, not the patient. Rudest staff of any doctor ever seen.

Overall I like her, but her staff is just the worst. They refuse to accommodate and listen to patients. When I follow myers orders, I typically get an earful from the staff. My last visit was just as unpleasant as the first few, filled with lies and unfriendliness. The lack of professionalism is astounding. I typically wait over an hour. Results take a long time to return, causing me to have to call the nurse. She never returns calls in the next 24 hour business day, as claimed by her voicemail. Overall, the staff will cost them business, as I’ve never been in the office without hearing at least one other complaint. It’s sad that she has such an angry staff.

CARING ABOUT MY WELL BEING AND HEALTH.

The worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office. Bed side manner was less than poor. Waited to be seen and once seen, rushed with little to no explanation of what she was saying as she talked a mile a minute. Talked at me and not to me. Pushed papers on me to sign. I left feeling as though I was treated like a thing and not as a person.

I left my last visit in tears. She is very abrupt, blunt, and is always in a hurry. She never spends any time with me, and falsely accuses me of handling my diabetes wrong. She asks very pointed questions, and before I can explain myself or answer her questions she is barking out orders. In these orders, she tells me to do things I HAVE ALREADY BEEN DOING! She would know that if she backed off the caffeine, slowed down, and actually LISTENED to me. No help at say; always negative and discouraging. Her staff is sarcastic and rude.

Dr. Myers is very friendly, but I feel only halfway listens to what I'm saying. She forms her own opinion quickly then doesn't really hear my concerns. From one visit to the next she forgets what we discuss our previous sessions (write it in your notes please!), and disclaims things I feel are important. I'm certain she and her staff made a mistake in misrepresenting a specimen that was sent to the lab, resulting in incorrect lab findings. Overall, I cringe every time I have to go in to the office because I wonder what will get screwed up this time.

Dr. Lisa Meyers is the most outstanding doctor, she has a great bedside manner, she's friendly, caring, professional. I would never thing of using another doctor to care for my diabetes.
