Dr. Lisa C Pellegrini, MD

i did not feel Dr. Pelegrini cared about treating my condition as much as she cared about getting to her point of retirement. not only was my OCD misdiagnosed, but she was quick to prescribe me intense medications like benzodiazepines and anti-psychotics. while my mental illness grew stronger, i believe these medications made my recovery more difficult than it would’ve been otherwise. although being a psychiatrist with experience, i don’t think Dr. Pellegrini is equipped to treat all of the major mental illnesses.

Very cold, callous, and unsympathetic and just after a paycheck! She made it seem in a silent way that she couldn’t wait for you to leave; it wasn’t a pleasant experience!

8 have been working with dr. Pelligrini for almos 10 years. She has always provided me with an excellent experience and treatment plan.

I can't, or I guess maybe I just don't have the strength currently....but. I wrote a very detailed and personal review on my experience during my time at Linden Oaks Behavioral. This "Doctor" was at the center of my traumatizing, humiliating, depressing and scary experience there... Not only I, but alsomy doctor at the time who recommended Linden Oaks, filed complaints about her professionalism and overall competence as a doctor... The Google review (along with most of the reviews for that place) goes a lot deeper... Please, if you encounter this "Medical Professional", get as far away as fast as you can.... I promise you it will be for the better...

I saw her for 1-2 years and at first I did not mind the short appointments; but when life got harder and I needed to talk to my psychiatrist more, I found her to be very rude and abrupt with me. I cried one visit and she told me there was no time for that-the clock was always ticking you see. I regret not posting this sooner because it could have helped patients who are in a challenging emotional state-if so I highly recommend you go elsewhere unless you want to feel like crap.

Dr Pellegrino is great! She gives whatever time I need and we have a genuine conversation. Love her!

Every time I go to her office it feels like ages before she brings me into her office, and after that I feel like I'm struggling to get a diagnosis. She's stated "I don't know what's wrong with you" twice now, and always lists me as 'Mood Disturbance' when it feels like my therapist and I are practically telling her what's wrong with me. I find her to be very rude, and I feel as if she's not actually listening to me. I'm not comfortable with my appointments with her and I'm highly considering a new psychiatrist.

I have been seeing Dr. Pellegrini for about two years. I feel very comfortable talking with her, and she makes it seem like a casual two-way conversation instead of an uncomfortable doctor-patient Q&A. Without a doubt, she is a very knowledgeable medical professional while being genuine. I actually enjoy my appointments!

at first i didn't see anything special on her, but after a few sessions i realize she's the best one i've had, and a wonderful person too.

I don't find her rude. She's an egghead though. Probably was a science geek.
