Dr. Lisa Ann Utsey, MD

Dr Utsey was my sons pediatrician up until she moved her office from Longwood to where she is now. During my sons appointments, I specifically voiced my opinion and fear about my son receiving any mmr vaccines at every visit, and I was assured at every visit he would be getting all Accept the MMR. When I received my sons shot record for kindergarten, I realized he had gotten every single MMR vaccine, against my will, and without my knowledge. Had my son had a severe reaction to this vaccine, I wouldn’t have even known that he had that specific one. To me, that was a violation of my right as a mother, and a disgusting thing to do as someone’s health provider. Please parent, check your children’s records always. This is the worst thing a doctor can do is lie to your face, and do something to your child without your consent.

This has to be the worst pediatrician ever!!!! She fails in giving an accurate diagnosis. My child was diagnosed with a "cold". Later in the evening I took him to the hospital and he was admitted. The doctors wanted to know who treated him for a cold as he had asthma and because he was not treated sooner he had to be hospitalized. Never again. As a doctor she should have know the difference.

Dr Utsey has been caring for my 3 children for the past 4 years, she has always been accurate in her diagnosis and has always given me the proper medication. Her staff knows me by name and is very familiar with all my children. I recently relocated 15 miles from Dr Utsey, but did not change to another physician, I will continue to bring my children to her till they are too old to see her :)
