Dr. Lissette Giraud, MD

I arrived 8 minutes late for my appointment because of train delays (after travelling for 45 mins). The receptionist said the doctor refused to see me because she has a strict 5 min late rule. There was absolutely no one in the waiting room. I asked if I could wait and she could take me when she's available because I had booked this appointment as an emergency consult and would be travelling the next 2 weeks, but receptionist said she still refused so I had to leave without being seen. Generally when I book an appointment on zocdoc, the doctors office will still reach out to confirm my appointment. However, this office did not do that. And being that they have such a strict late rule, it would've been nice for them to reach out to confirm my appointment and let me know before I wasted my time traveling there.

I am finally getting around to writing this review after being very sick for months. I went to Dr. Giraud ( accompanied by my daughter) because I was having dizzy spells, was off balance, had pain in my ear and was hearing a buzzing noise. It was so bad that I was having panic attacks. This "doctor" walked in the room, never examined me, didn't even look at me while she proceeded to tell my daughter ( As if I wasn't in the room) that I was getting old ( I'm 64) and that my brain was deteriorating. She said there was nothing she could do. I burst into tears and she just shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to rush out. Then as an after thought she came back and quickly looked inside my ear, and without saying a word, she rushed back out. I have NEVER been treated with such disregard. I would NOT recommend this doctor. After going to NYU for an evaluation, it turned out I had had a stroke which was causing all my symptoms.

Truly the worst experience I've ever had in a doctors office. Tried to rush me out without taking anything I said into consideration. Told me to take an OTC medicine for 3 weeks (even though I had already been taking it for a week prior). This specific medicine has many warnings including NOT to use and contact a doctor if problem persists over a week. Despite suffering from extreme dizziness and sever pain/congestion in my ear, nose, and throat, she told me there's nothing she can do and that maybe I should go to the ER. This doctor should be reported and investigated.

I'm permanently deaf in one ear due to Miss Giraud's misdiagnosis. I had to do research o find out what was wrong & when I presented it to her, she stated that I was mentally ill. Thankfully, I now go to real doctors - she doesn't merit the Dr. appellation.

Another horrible dr in Crystal Run Healthcare. Spent less than 3 minutes with me, totally misdiagnosed my condition while never explored any other possible causes for my symptoms. Avoid this Dr at all costs.

I GO TO DR GIRAUD A FEW TIMES A YEAR SHE IS OUTSTANDING GOOD

I visited this doctor for the first time recently, being referred by my GP who is in the Crystal Run group. I was not greeted by her as she rushed into the room, didn't introduce herself, or crack a smile. It started out very uncomfortable. She did not explain what she was doing as she examined me, put words in my mouth while asking to describe my symptoms, and writing things that I did not say, confusing my symptoms. I was in the exam room for all of 7 minutes. It felt rushed, sterile, and unprofessional as she was wearing a dress 5 sizes to small for her. I was also called with exam results on two separate occasions for two separate tests. She was not available to answer my questions and someone else from the office called me with less than desireable knowledge of my health and concerns. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Saw her for dizziness that I had for years, no doctor had been able to diagnose my condition. When she came in she knew my whole medical history and quickly explained to me what was going on and sent me to a neurologist in the same practice. She was great.

Would recommend this doctor without reservations.

Watched the woman devolve over past 2 years from senior dementia. She mistook me twice for another patient. She mis-diagnosed me. Had to go to someone else. She may be lovely, but I value my life.
