Dr. Lizze Anel Hinojosa, MD

I CAME HERE WITH MY SON BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO , & AFTER READING THE THE REVIEWS I THOUGHT TWICE BUT WENT ANYWAY BECAUSE OF LOCATION & I WAS PLEASENTLY SURPRISED THE STAFF WAS GREAT THE MA & FRONT STAFF WAS GREAT ALSO DR. HINOJOSA WAS PLEASENT ALSO & MY SON WAS VERY COMFORTABLE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE VISIT.

DO NOT GO TO TJIS CLINIC!! THE STAFF INCLUDING THE WANNABE DR. DONT CARE FOR KIDS AND ARE RUDE! If I could give negative 5 stars I would! I am still in disbelieve on what happened to us today and yesterday. My son was send to his year old check up including his second Hep A vaccination that was missing. His dad took him yesterday and came home telling me a horror story. 3 people held him down on the Dr. chair laying down giving him 5 shots in a row without break like he would be a piece of keddle! He even got scratched with a needle! The nurse argued with my husband to death our son would not need a hep A! Which was wrong. He took the day early off work fir nothing! My son was send home from daycare because of this missing shot! So I had to leave work too and bring him again to that place to get the missing shot! Upon arrival I was already ruedly greeted and when I refused to have my son held down by 3 ppl they got even more rudem. I was told by the nurse she is already off the clock… and would not have to do this! Me being upset turning to the Dr. telling her about this that I had to come a second time and now getting treated rudely. She then rolled her eyes at ne an sais "well she is right". I had no words anymore. They continued giving my son the shot very rough and rude. Mistakes happen but not having the decency of apologizing and acting this unprofessional is a no go. I will take this to the proper authorities and report tjis doctor. She also diagnosed my son wrong and claiming he has bronchitis without assessing him correctly only to make money! She yelled at my son when he did not want to caugh! He is 4 and told her "but I don't have a caugh"! This is a horrible place, don't ever take your kid there. They will never see us again!

I took my 16 year old here for dizzy and nausea, she immediately without doing anything other taking her blood pressure said, you have the flu, she prescribed her meds for dizzy and nausea....the next day she was worse, so my oldest daughter took her back again and I was called and said that we had two options, she could go home and wait two more days or we could admit her to the hsopital. My daughter had all the symptoms of an inner ear infection and vertigo....when going back after the two days, she said I think you have an ear infection...but she never looked in her ears and then just gave us a script for an antibiotic. My daughter suffered with this for over a week and due to my work schedule I could not find another dr to get her in right away...next time I will go to the ER and in the meantime, look for a new Dr for her....I will never go back here. The Dr. is rude and arrogant!!!!!

I called to make a appointment for my son who would have been a new patient. Someone by the name of Tiffany answered the phone she was very rude when I would talk she kept saying mmmhmmmm over and over, I asked if I could schedule an appointment and she just stayed quiet I had to say something to see if she was even there, she finally responded and said hold on and put me on hold. After this I just hung up the phone, I wanted to go here since it was near my home but I will make the extra trip into town to see someone there who is not rude and arrogant. With staff being like this I can only imagine how the doctor is.

I was attempting to schedule an appointment today for my daughter's flu shot. I spoke with Tiffany. She told me she was the receptionist. I asked her if I could get her scheduled this afternoon and my daughter would be a new patient. From the start, "Tiffany" was very abrupt. She informed me that they would not be able to schedule any new patients on Friday afternoon and I would have to schedule on Monday morning. I politely asked if she had another day that she could be taken in during the afternoon hours. I do not want my child to have a late check in or absent date from school. She stayed on the line and was complete silent and about good 20 seconds...then rudely asked me, Do you have insurance? I informed her that I had Humana. She then quickly responded and informed me that Dr. Hinojosa is no longer accepting Humana and ended the call. I currently have a pedi doctor for my daughter. I just did not want to drive twenty minutes into Corpus. This office was two miles from my home.… ....I guess location is not everything....having a courteous staff is a start. I checked online with my insurance carrier prior to making the call to make sure they were accepting new patients.

In my opinion, Dr. Hinajosa was judge mental and arrogant. She seemed very nice to my 3 yr old daughter, but was very rude to me and my husband. I felt she was being confrontational with me (even though this was my daughter's first visit to her office). I felt uncomfortable in her presence. I would not recommend this pediatrician to my friends or family.
