Dr. Lorelei Grunwaldt, MD

Even though it is on all of her sites and ads, I was told after a long wait that they don't actually take medicare. I have original medicare so it's not an advantage plan issue. I asked before I even started the process if they both took and participated in medicare and was told yes. The surgeon herself called me to tell me shortly before my appointment that they don't. When I asked which medicare they do take she said she didn't know and that her "business manager" told her to tell me this. This And the fact that they're now requiring cash deposits for appointments leads me to think this is about money and cuts to medicare payouts, but rather than say that and look bad, I get a vague denial with no solutions or details. I of course can't know that for sure, but this isn't the first time this has happened to me. I know people who've gone to this surgeon and liked her a lot. I unfortunately wouldn't know because months of my time were wasted and things never moved forward. If you're… rich or have a bunch saved up to pay out of pocket for a procedure or have really fancy insurance, I'm sure she's great. If you're disabled and low income, you may want to look elsewhere.

I have always been an extremely large chested girl with a very small stature. I was unable to play sports I wanted, and always felt that people were looking at my chest and not my face. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. After seeing Dr. Grunwaldt, she understood, was compassionate, and had extremely wonderful credentials. She performed my breast augmentation when I was 18 and it changed my life. She is a perfectionist and made my chest look completely normal as if I was born that way. I can't recommend her enough. The care she provided before, during, and after my surgery was amazing. I cant thank her enough for my new life.
