Dr. Lorene Kay Siaw, MD

she has no commpassion and yes she answers your questions and walks away like she has other patients to tend to just to avoid more questions leaves me with asking the nurses more questions. my husband suffered congestive heart failure for 10yrs + he lived with that heart disease. one day he collapsed while hanging out with friends, there is more private info that i cant share on this post but anyways my husband collapsed and 2 friends that he was with tried/did cpr until medics came. Husband ended up with some brain damages due to lack of oxygen. husband went thru surgery thrack and peg and passed 2wks later. Dr Siaw was so very RUDE that day i wanted to fire her i asked for her to be removed from his care. He passed hours after. one of her answers to me and daughter was “it is what it is” later that evening when we got that call that he expired we gathered up the kids,family etc to find my husband was taken to forensics without waiting for his family to reach at hospital. i do not… like how they run Maui hospital so lame after they switched to kaiser. i hope Siaw gets barred from practicing nation wide. i dont like her attitute very very RUDE.!!!

Without giving us any notice or time to find assisted care, this so-called doctor discharged my father in law who was suffering from brain injury (tumors) and was clearly a danger to himself and others because there was “no medical reason to keep him” despite providing no diagnosis whatsoever for the masses found in his brain. With my crying wife (and baby) begging for the hospitsl to let him stay at least one more day because he had no place to go and desperately needed medical care and supervision, this horrible excuse for a professional signed the discharge papers and then REFUSED TO SPEAK WITH US. Then the case manager hung up on me because I was upset they were discharging someone experiencing a psychiatric emergency. I am now up in the middle of the night listening for bells that we put on our doorknobs to keep him from wandering into the street or into the babies room. Hope you are sleeping well tonight doctor. If anything happens to my father in law or family i will sue you… myself for patient abandonment.

Not a very good doctor! When you ask her a question she answers it but immediately wants to leave after answering the question. If you have another question to ask her you can forget it because she'll try to bolt out the door before you even get a chance to finish asking questions. She also discharged my dad without talking to the other doctors involved on his case and therefore it got my dad in an uproar because he was happy to be going home but realized he couldn't because of this doctor. I would not recommend her to anyone!
