starting with Dr Dowie and ending with Eleine they are the rudest people I have ever been able to deal with, they don't listen to you and treat you badly, the worst thing is that you don't feel at all that they care about your health and they treat you with sarcasm and don't attention to what you need everything is a business a transaction zero empathy or desire to help you

Excellent service. The virtual attendants were very helpful. Minimal wait. Friendly staff. Dr Dowie was very thorough and spent time explaining the plan for my care.

I had two very horrendous experiences. Most recent experience, I was seeing Kelly Spencer. All was fine until I was experiencing some serious symptoms (erratic bp) but wasn't sure what I should do. I called to speak to Kelly and the staff refused to allow me to speak to her! They told me they couldn't help me and I should just go to the ER! They didn't even ask what the issue is, just said if I felt bad go to the ER! Literally said, "we can't help you here". The staff was extraordinarily rude. When I told Kelly I had tried to reach her, she literally answered me "I cannot get on the phone and go in and out of patient rooms all day to answer phone calls." This is a direct documented quote. Sorry, thought that was your job. Then when I asked her what risk assessment she had done on my case to determine why I was not given medication to potentially prevent the symptoms and hospital stay, her answer was "I cannot prescribe medicine to everyone." So basically they did NO diagnoses on my… symptoms. I ended up in the hospital for six days. When I was released, I was supposed to see Kelly within a week, staff made my appointment for THREE weeks after release despite my discharge orders I told them about. Second, I had to go to the ER as it was late and I was experiencing flu symptoms (pre-covid). The ER doctor was concerned about my high BP, told me I was on the wrong BP meds I had gotten from Dowie, and changed them. ER doctor said she'd be happy to talk to Dowie, who she personally knew as a colleague, to discuss the change. When I went to see Dr. Dowie, she refused to call the other doctor to consult with them, or even ask why they changed my meds. She rudely told me "Since I had been seeing another doctor I should just take their advice" What? I'm the patient here, and it was a one time ER visit. Why wouldn't she make a simple call to talk to the other doctor? These folks, including their staff are the rudest, most inept, uncaring and unethical folks I've ever seen. Dowie shouldn't be allowed to carry the title of doctor. Spencer is rude and uncaring (don't ask a question or place a call, God forbid). The staff is rude as they follow the poor demeanor of the Dowie. They are horrendous people. They are awful and don't care. Stay away! Seriously stay away!

Awful Would give 0 starts if an option I’ve never encountered a doctor who care so little

My first visit was today. She was thorough and professional. She gave me roughly 1.5 hours of her time, if not more. I work in a hospital and know how difficult it is to get good care. I could not ask for more consideration. Based on my experience, especially under the duress of Covid19 I would recommend her to my friends.

I never saw the doctor once in 2 years but was always given off to a medical STUDENT or a PA. The office always ran 30-60 minutes late. Getting referrals took 2 weeks each time. I showed up to an appointment once and had to leave after ONE HOUR - I was billed $50.00 for this - UNETHICAL - AND the doctor would not see me at the next scheduled time because I owed $50! Very bad because I am in the high-risk group for Covid-19 and I broke quarantine to go to the appointment, needed medical attention and the doctor who was there would not see me due to an overdue bill that I could pay then but she refused still to see me!! Her Hippocratic oath was obviously NOT a priority but her bank account was!!

I have always waited at least 30-60 minutes and in two years have never even Seen the doctor - dr. Dowie. I’ve always been given to a medical Student or a PA. I finally asked to see the doctor and was questioned WHY? At my second to last appointment I waited 1 hour and had to go, I told the front girl and rescheduled. I got a FIFTY DOLLAR BILL for that - they said I missed the appointment. I took the bill with me to my rescheduled appointment and told them - I was told it was office policy that if you left you were absent. WHAT?!?! I said I wouldn’t pay it and they said then the doctor wouldn’t see me. BIG ISSUE - I am in the HIGH RISK group for Covid and I broke my self quarantine to go out to a Medical office, Not the safest place for me to be and the doctor whose care I am under won’t see me due to some asinine office policy and I need blood work done, which is scheduled to update my thyroid medication another condition I suffer from besides an at risk immune system. This… doctor has NOT TAKEN HER HIPPOCRATIC OATH SERIOUSLY. She cares only for her bank account!!!

After a significant amount of unexplained weight loss, I was deteriorating quickly. My prior doctor said I needed better insurance and really was not helpful at all. My daughter set an appointment for me with Dr. Dowie. I just thought this would be another appointment with no benefit. Dr. Dowie was caring and concerned and immediately got me the appropriate testing and referrals to specialists that took the insurance I have. When some of the numbers on my blood work were concerning, she immediately called me in and thoroughly discussed each one with me so that I understood exactly what was happening and what we needed to do about it. I like that she shares her knowledge and expertise with medical students who work in her office under her. If they become a fraction of the smart, compassionate doctor that Dr. Dowie is, they will be a great asset to the medical community. Dr. Dowie is patient and kind and I know she cares deeply about the health of her patients.
