Dr. Lori Gail Hankenson, MD

We have had both children with Dr Hankenson and she has always been exceptional when it comes to their care. The office is a great place to go, that has always found a way to fit our kids in at the last minute. The after hours on-call support is excellent too. Its sad to see I assume a single individual trying to internet smear her on multiple sites. Perhaps some people disagree with the offices pro-vaccination policies.

Very experienced, very customer focused office and staff. We were lucky to have some friends recommend her for our girls pediatrician.

This lady is beyond rude. It felt like she had her own agenda, not looking out for my child's needs. The photo posted above is a very old photo, because she in person she appears to be well into her 60's. I got the impression she was burned out with her job, and didn't really enjoy being around children.

She is a monster. I would never bring my children near her EVER again. I can only hope for the best for someone so close minded, ignorant, and awful. I hope she feels like a fool for all she put my children, fiancé and I through. My almost 7 year old will have to relive that night forever, for no good reason.

I would NOT recommend this pediatrician clinic to anybody. With my second child I had chose Dr Hankenson as her pediatrician. She always overlooked everything and made everything about my daughters medical concerns into a joke. It was extremely unproffesional and didn't seem like she ever cared to figure out what was actually going on. It seemed no matter how many times she saw my child she never remembered who my child was. She gave the wrong dosage for how much medication at child of my weight should have. The concerns for her feet I have and walking so completely overlooked. When ER staff wanted to have my daughter hospitalized she has a call before admit restriction and she told them not to admit my daughter of 11 months old. I find it ridiculous and that she has no concern for her patients. I received a letter that she was discontinuing care for my child and that no other doctors will see my child at that clinic because I had complained to another doctor about her behavior. Which… by all means is fine I had already dropped her and found a new pediatrician that I have for my first born and I already know is amazing beyond belief. No body should take there child to this clinic unless they want the complete run around and don't want your child properly taken care of. Especially to Dr Hankenson.

My three children have gone to Dr Hankenson for the last 8 years, and in the last year and a half, I would say it has gone significantly down hill. It seems that she it too busy or disinterested in determining the conditions that my kids may or may not have, but just refers them to specialists and/or orders expensive tests that have all come out to being completely unneccesary. I end up with expensive medical bills because she didnt want to take the time. My kids are all very healthy which makes this even that much more confusing. And then about two months ago, I received a phone call from a completely different pediatricians office wondering why they had just received my daughters complete medical records. By the time I finally got someone in records to answer my call, they gave me lame excuses and couldnt tell me why that had happened. That is a huge issue for me. Needless to say, I am looking for a new pediatrician and hope to have better luck than I have had with her.
