My husband’s primary care insisted he see this specific doctor. I see why now. He still isn’t the same man I married but he is doing better. He can do more things with the family. Our marriage is improving. The kids have noticed a difference. She had to cancel two appointments (several months apart, a coincidence). She called and personally apologized to him for cancelling and saw him during her lunch hour the next day. Nobody is perfect but she is a good doctor and person and I’m happy that his primary doctor recommended her.

The Army ruined my life. I will never work again. I lost my family. She helped me get my benefits. It has taken some of the pressure off.

Dr. Pepper helped me a lot. I switched to her because the other doctor there was extremely rude and arrogant. Thankfully another person working there told me to ask for Dr. Pepper. She listened and spent time with me. She actually likes working with veterans and it shows. I hope she doesn’t quit. The VA has a serious problem with not holding on to good doctors and therapists.

I had two terrible doctors at the VA and had given up on the VA for mental health. I mean downright rude, don't care about nothing, just collecting paychecks doctors. I tried seeing each doctor a few times and when the last one was a real jerk, I did not go back. One of my friends sees Dr. Peppers. He has bad PTSD like me and he has been doing a lot better. He can do all the things he used to now. He told me to call her so I did. She called me back and put me in for a appointment. She really helped me feel better and she helped me get hooked up with other services through the VA. She doesn't talk down to you. She is very practical and just wants you to feel better. She is not like other high and mighty doctors that think they no everything even though they never served in the military and have no idea what they are talking about.

I have had some really uncaring psychiatrists at the Syracuse VA. Some only spend 5 minutes with you and are doing the bare minimum. She really cares. She spends so much time with me. She returns my calls. She contacts other doctors that were supposed to do stuff but didn’t. She fills out time consuming forms. And most important, I’m doing a lot better since I got her. Thank you, doc!

I highly recommend Dr. Peppers.

She is a fantastic psychiatrist. She actually spends time with me. She spent more time with me on the phone before I met her than the last guy spent with me at my appointments! She really understands and works hard to do what is best. I really like her.

She saved my life. What else needs saying?

After several recent hospitalizations and psychiatrists just throwing meds at me, telling me what was best for me, I almost believed them. What a breath of fresh air. She actually LISTENS to me and takes into account what I want (although she won't do something she feels is not right). Still, go ahead. Find someone who listens and doesn't talk down to you. I am so relieved I found her. What a blessing from the Lord.

Dr. Peppers is an amazing psychiatrist. I have seen many psychiatrists and therapists over the years and been put on tons of meds that mostly just made things worse. She has helped me get off most of my meds and the ones left are actually helpful. And most importantly, she has helped me to understand myself and make real changes in my life.
