Dr. L William Traverso, MD

in the summer of 2011 my mother because very ill with a severe case of pacreatitis. She was in the ICU for over 4 months and most Drs told us she wasn't going to make it. When Dr. Traverso began to treat her he immediately offered the entire family hope. He got to know her and her family in a deeper level and he NEVER gave up on her. This Dr. was the most incredible person I've ever met, compassionate, caring, sweet and kind in every way. He reminded the family throughout this entire ordeal that she was strong to have faith and that she would make it. Well thanks to him and his staff she was successfully treated and survived. Unfortunately due to other health issues my mother is now gone but due to Dr. Traverso and his staff she lived two more years. I will always believe that this man was sent to our family by God and may he be blessed in every way.

Dr. Traverso operated to remove 70% of my pancreas and my spleen in 2003. I had a benign serous cystadenoma. I would not recommend this surgery on my worst enemy, but if you have to have it, Dr. Traverso and Virginia Mason are the best. I am fully recovered and living a normal life. Thank you Dr. Traverso!
