Dr. Louise Annlea Chuu, MD

She seemed nice with good bedside manners but don't be fulled. She does not follow up with test results, there is no communication with her, her assistants absolutely horrible and is not helpful. My experience with her team was very upsetting and I ended up looking for a new doctor who actually saved me.

Dr. Chuu has a calm, pleasant demeanor and I initially thought I had found the right doctor. However, she and her office are extremely disorganized, to the point of committing malpractice. I strongly discourage patients from seeing her, particularly for pregnancies.

Dr. Chuu is truly a remarkable doctor. She’s not only very kind and caring but also very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest practices and studies. We found her by recommendation and are very greatfull that we had the opportunity to have her deliver our son and care for me through my pregnancy.

I originally went for an initial procedure before getting an IUD insertion, which by the way shouldn't exist, I should just be able to get an IUD inserted upon request and immediately. Chuu was nice but her receptionists were rude, incompetent, and refusing to do what I asked. They made me do all the work for ordering the IUD and getting the CVS specialty pharmacy to mail it to her office. I was initially told that the IUD would take two weeks to arrive to the office once I ordered it and then they would call me on a set date to schedule an appointment for insertion. They never called, so I reordered the IUD and waited ANOTHER two weeks in which they also did not call when they said they would. When I finally got in touch with an office representative and a CVS specialty pharmacy representative, they had never ordered the IUD when I filled out the paperwork twice already, and finally had to reorder it, so I had to wait another week in which they said they'd call me to schedule an… insertion appointment date. They did not call me and I saw that the package had arrived to the office. I had to call them, in which they hung up on me when I asked for answers. I called again, and finally they gave me an appointment date for THREE WEEKS LATER and when I asked to be put on a cancellation waitlist they declined. When I complained about my experience, they blamed their poor behavior on my insurance company. If I could give this doctor's office 0 stars I would. I called planned parenthood right after and got an insertion appointment for the NEXT DAY. I have never heard of having to do that much work and wait that long to have an IUD inserted, especially when I am fully covered under insurance. Never go to this office!!!

The Doctor is good however the waiting time is from 1 hour to 2 hours and it's pretty normal accurance here. Not sure why they even bother with appointments. We should just come in and wait.

Phenomenal doctor, the staff discuss patient information amongst each other while patients are sitting near by. Not always professional.

Dr. Chuu is the ultimate professional!

She is incredible. I feel so lucky to have her as my doctor. She is that rare breed of intelligence combined with kindness. Trust me she provides excellent patient care and she is a skilled physician. She also has a great personality. The office wait time can be a bit long but she is worth it.

Dr. Chuu is patient, attentive, and always took extra time to answer my questions. I never felt rushed or dismissed while under her care. I knew Dr. Chuu was an exceptional doctor when during my first (and highly anticipated) OB visit she sadly informed me and my husband of our miscarriage. Her manner was calm and very informative, but also so sensitive and empathetic. The hours after that traumatic first appointment were some of the saddest of my life. It seems like it should have been difficult for me to return to her office but over the next couple of years she provided great care and trust... and eventually she delivered our beautiful baby girl. I could write more but I don't think it's necessary. Dr. Chuu is one of the best!! (Note: The office staff are also caring and attentive. And yes, office wait times can be bad. I always try to book the first appointment of the day.)

I found Dr. Chuu to be impatient and judgmental. I often left feeling nervous, upset and confused.
