Dr. Lourdes Q Uy, MD

Dr. Uy was originally supposed to be my Dr for my pregnancy but I decided to switch without meeting her based off of her online reviews. Boy, were they right! I had an appointment with her as part of the labor team at my hospital and I hope to never meet with her again. So abrasive and cold and didn't listen to anything that I wanted or answer any question that I had with facts, just her own opinion. I stopped talking so the appointment would just be over.

Wonderful bedside manner, helpful, took her time.

This was the most awful visit to a dr in my life and I've been to lots as I'm a cancer survivor. The Womens Ctr clinic was complete chaos in the waiting room and it continued when I was called and brought to the scale where a patient's friend and child were seated and had to be moved bk to the waiting room. This was a referral to have a polyp removed in the cervix. Dr. - well I really couldbn't even tell if she was a dr. Her English is not great so I couldn't understand half of what she said - the removal of the polyp was totally weird - she pulled it out and showed it to me and then had nowhere to put it - no specimen jar so stuck it in where the forceps came out of to go search for a jar. It was just an overall odd appointment I should have listened to my heart and left when I walked into the waiting room. I will never go to a dr again w/o having someone in the medical field that I know telling me the person is good. when I called for results they put me thru to the dr and for… the next 5 minutes I heard her yelling back and forth to her friends about what they were going to get for lunch. I would never ever go to this clinic or doctor again. I went to another dr right after to be sure she did it right which was a royal pain for me to have to do but felt I had to after this experience.
