Dr. Lovegildo S Garcia JR., MD

Dr. Garcia is the best doctor I’ve ever had. I’ve been seeing him for over 15 years and he has always been so patient and thorough with me. As a kid growing up I always had migraines, vision problems, dizziness and ringing in my ears. I went from doctor to doctor and finally when I was in my early 20s I was sent to Dr. Garcia. Within two visits and a couple test I was diagnosed and he started treating me. I love Dr. Garcia and would travel across the U.S. to see him. Yes, you’ll have some waiting time in the waiting room. Just know that when it’s your time to be seen he will be spending as much time needed with you. It’s worth it!!

I'm giving a poor review due to a recent appointment I had with Dr. Garcia. Apparently it's standard practice to double book times for office visits which can translate into exceptionally long waits for the patients. After waiting an hour past my appointment I asked when I was going to be seen, at this point I was told I only had two people in front of me. I asked the other people waiting if it was past their appointment time and they all said yes and that it was common for this to happen. At this point I found out that another person there had the same appointment time as myself, when I confronted the person that schedules appointments she said they did that in case one didn't show up. When I told her that both were here for the same appointment time she , in my opinion became a little snide and said it would normally only add an additional thirty minutes to my wait time. If you don't have anything better to do than sit in his office for hours you wont be disappointed.

Call to get directions on a nine am appointment only to find out the good doctor decided to take a last minute vacation. Utmost unprofessional!!!

He's funny I would recommen him to anyone. As a matter of fact I recommend my sister to go and my mom wants to go cause she was with me every time I went.I would always go to see him and no other Neurologist.

My legs had become paralyzed over the period of a week. I had several Doctors appointments but no solutions. Eventually I was sent to Hardin Memorial by a VA Doctor, Dr Garcia came to see me at about eleven o'clock at night. He did an exam, ordered some tests for that night. Within a day he took all the labs and test results to make a diagnosis. Treatment was started and I started getting better. This doctor knows what he is doing. Still have a long way to go, but I have the greatest confidence that the best doctor is taking care of me. I am a little older (66) which doesn't help. I am in good hands.

Dana who is the office manager is VERY rude and very short with patients and staff. She rolls her eyes at patients and is an overall mean human being with no bedside manner. Rudest person I have EVER encountered in the medical field.

I really do not think I know a more caring or compassionate Doc!!

went to him for two years. he didn't know what he was doing. someone recommended a different neurologist for my neck pains. i am now cured thanks to the second doctor.
