Lubna Ahmed, MD, joined LMG as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist in October 2009. Dr. Ahmed earned a medical degree from Baqai Medical and Dental College in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1996. She completed residencies in surgery and internal medicine at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center in New Nelhi, India, in 1997. She completed a three-year residency in pediatrics at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2005, and she completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Michigan's University Hospital in Ann Arbor in 2008. Prior to joining LMG, Dr. Ahmed was a physician with Botsford Pediatric Associates in Farmington Hills, Mich. She also served as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Michigan State University's Osteopathic School of Medicine, also in Farmington Hills.
