Dr. Luci Wannamaker Daley, MD

My son has been seeing Dr. Luci since birth and he is going to be 14 soon. Dr. Luci is a straight shooter but will take time to listen to your concerns. My husband was certain that now our son is a teenager, that it was time to find another male doctor for him that he would be more comfortable talking with. I ask my son and he said is wants to stay with Dr. Luci but if she ever leaves so will he. That is how great she is at her job. He loves the fact that (he said about the age of 7ish) she talks to HIM. Makes him feel important and that his concerns are just as good as my concerns as a parent. Dr. Luci we just want to let you know, what a wonderful job you are doing for and with your patience. If you want a Doctor that is a straight shooter and will stand with your child, she is the one to see.

I have entrusted my son with this group of doctors and I have always been extremely happy!

I took my 3 year old daughter to Dr. Luci (b/c her Pal.Ped Westside was closed) this past Saturday for the following symptoms: sore throat, a fever that had been treated prior to the visit w/ Advil, and congestion. I explained my child's history and noted that she had a chronic illness. After examining her, she remarked that she only had a cold...Mother's Day morning, I had to take her to urgent care (after being up all night) to find out she had STREP! Every time I go to the doctor and tell them I have a sore throat, I am always given a strep test. I am going to make a complaint today!

Dr. Luci has a great bedside manner, BUT will not write prescriptions (even when warranted). I've had to deal with her on at least 3 or 4 occasions with both of my children, AND in both cases, another doctor has had to come in behind her to fix problems she felt would play out on thier own. I take issue with any doctor who can not diagnose and TREAT. I know when to take my chidren to the doctor, but she doesn't know when to give medicine. Nice does not make up for it after a child is sicker longer than he/she should be.

I have only great things to say about Dr. Daley. She is cool and calming with kids that are scared. She takes her time to explain things to parents beyond the sickness. She addresses child development in a positive and realistic way.

Dr. Luci is wonderful doctor I would not trade her for any other in Spartanburg! She is great with children and parents. She always sits on the bed with my child and makes us both feel comfortable even in bad times. I just love her and so does my daughter!!

Dr. Luci found a coarctation in my baby's heart and was able to get us in with a cardiologist and a surgeon. This was a life changing surgery and we have her to thank for it!!
