Dr. Khuedung Lucy Nguyen, MD

We have been patients of Dr. Nguyen since 2000 and hope to have her as our doctor for the rest of our lives! Dr. Lucy Nguyen is smart, serious about health but not condisending and very compassionate. I have and will continue to recommend family and friends to her. Southlake Clinic is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Nguyen as well as her assistant Giesela on their team. I sincerely hope Southlake Clinc recognizes what an asset they are!

Dr. Nguyen is an excellent doctor but wait times to see her have become long. Phone wait times have become long. New staff members are not as friendly and helpful as previous employees. The new PAC is very good but this really isn't the same practice it used to be. If you're lucky and get Lisa or Morgan, they are very helpful on the phone.

I was very unimpressed with Dr. Nguyen. She was not helpful and didn't even mention the main reason I was in for a visit until I asked her about it. She would not let me fully explain my symptoms without interrupting me each time, without fail. Then she left before I could even ask her some questions, and that was the end of my visit. This was the most unprofessional and pointless doctor's appointment I have had and I will not be going back to see her.

Found Dr. Nguyen through a search on line and, combined with the convenient location close to my office, I decided to make an appointment. The scheduling was 2 weeks ahead, which fit with my travel schedule. Upon arrival the receptionist was businesslike and efficient, the nurse called me in quickly for initial vitals check and the Dr. was in less than 5 minutes. Upon introduction, she proceeded with in-depth review of my health history, followed by all the standard examination procedures. My impression was that she is very knowledgeable and confident in her practice (which I expected), but what impressed me more was how up-to-date she was with the current medical developments and how well she communicated/shared this information with me. The final part of the visit felt more like an engaged conversation than a doctor's visit, which is very confidence building in my book. In summary, she is a true professional, very current in her field, very polite and sensitive during all… procedures.

I think Dr. Nguyen is great! She never misses a thing and always follows up. I think her nurse is terrific! Always helpful and gets things done very timely. The whole office is full of sweet people. All of my family and friends see her and I wouldn't have it any other way! Office and staff are terrific!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Lucy ever since she came to the Kent office. She is very thorough and some found health problems I have that other doctors had missed. I am very satisfied with her care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lucy for over 11 years, she is professional, patient, knowledgable, kind, no nonsense. I would and HAVE recomended many friends and family to Dr. Lucy. I TRUST MY LIFE in Dr. Lucy's hands.

I Have only had a few appts. with Dr. Nguyen and so far I have been satisfied. I also like the front office staff. My disappointment is with her nurse assistant. She did not return my call in a timely fashion and was rude. Not a good representative of Dr. Nguyen's.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for years. While I now live an hour away, I continue to have her as my primary care physician. She listens to your concerns, actually listens and gets to the bottom of the issue. You never feel rushed or unimportant.

I had a horrible experience. She was more focused on her electronic medical record than on me. I barely had a chance to get a word in edgewise, let alone express any concerns. She was in and out of the room in a flash, and this was supposed to have been a physical.I'm sure she is quite competent, but I guess she saves her skills for "problems".
