Dr. Ludmila Fridman, MD

I was with this doctor in the direction of my primary physician, having paid for my visit in advance. So, the doctor said that this is a wrong visit, I need another specialist. Perfectly! I am very surprised because I received two payments even though I have corporate insurance. How to pay for an interrupted visit to the wrong address ??? I have not yet met such an incident!

After spending little time with me she gave me medication for memory. It gave me lots of problems. She did not return my phone call . The medicine had lots of side problems which I had to deal with such as loss of appetite. I finally fainted and had to go to the hospital. They did lots of tests and all were good except for the medicine. When I stopped the mets my appetite came back. For about six weeks inall I was weak and dizzy. That went away when I dropped my meds for the most part. I do not plan to go back to her.

Very poor experience overall. Comes across as cold, somewhat arrogant. Poor manners, lack of professionalism, wouldn't even greet with a simple 'hello' when meeting a new patient first time. Doesn't appear to listen or care, no insights to share but very eager to refer to numerous tests, more follow up visits with no rationale provided. I was hoping to get some help, didn't get any. I don't have any confidence in her abilities to professionally or humanely take care of patient's well being. This is a darker side of our health care, questionable competence and lack of professionalism hiding behind the system. I feel I wasted my time and money, will never be back. Stay away if you truly care about your health.

Absolutely clueless and should not be practicing medicine. If you have MS stay away for sure!

Dr. Fridmanis one of the best New England Nuerologists. She is also a very nice, pleasant person. I recomment her to everybody.

Dr. Fridman is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable. If by chance she does not know the answer, she will find one for you. She listens to you and takes her time with you. I highly recommend her.

Excellent doctor! Very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, very helpful, very pleasant to deal with. She was treating my father for many years, and then when I had a problem, I went to visit her. Recommend her to everybody! Love her!

Cold demenor and poor bedside manner.

This doctor has been great to me. She seemed a bit distant at first, but now she greets me and asks about my family before getting down to business. Dr. Fridman found a medicine that helped my MS. It was not an MS one, but it was quite helpful, and I hear that later other MS neurologists have been prescribing it. I find her thorough and pleasant. My husband also sees her for other problems.

I have been seeing Dr. Fridman for less than a year, and I would not recommend her at all. She interrupts while you are explaining symptoms, doesn't provide full explanations, and is cold, abrupt, and condescending. She does not clearly explain the test she orders, why she orders them, or the results. She does not take the time to listen carefully, understand, or care. She has my diagnosis clearly set in her mind, and her exams are superficial. She will tell you to follow up with her in several weeks, but won't have an opening in her schedule for months! Of the office staff, Stephanie is truly helpful--if you must go here, deal with her. I will be seeking care elsewhere as soon as I can change insurance companies.
