Dr. Luis Enrique Bolano

I am very grateful to Dr. Bolano. After I nearly severed a finger, he performed a complex surgery to repair my tendon, nerve, and DIP joint. He also performed another necessary fusion surgery on it about 8 months later. He did a great job on both, especially considering how badly cut up my finger was. At all of my follow up appointments he was always gentle and thorough. Only thing he could improve on was maybe educating the patient a little better, but I mostly got what I needed by asking a lot of questions. He's just not a man of many words. He is extremely intelligent and I believe cares deeply about his patients. I'd absolutely trust him again and thankful we have such a skilled hand surgeon in our area.

Dr. Bolano has done two joint replacement on me. He is an excellent Doctor. I have appointment concerning my shoulder. He is non assuming. He gives one the info needed. I highly recommend him.

Dr Bolano was recommended to me as the best hand surgeon in our area. He has done surgery on my thumb and a joint replacement on my middle finger., and I am highly pleased with the results. He doesn't spend a lot of extra time with me but he explains things well and makes sure I know exactly how he wants me to exercise the affected area. When I had a concern post-surgery in between appointments, the office had me come in the next morning to be checked.

Dr. Bolano surgically repaired a complicated break of my shoulder and humerus which including a spiral fracture the length of the humerus. Bolts in the shoulder area and placement of a plate the length of my humerus helped stabilize the break and spiral fractures of the bone. His skill as a surgeon and after surgery care are unmatched. I am so grateful he took care of me - with the surgery and during the long process of recovery with routine visits to check bone healing and gradual return to full mobility and function. Nine months of physical therapy at Thomas Hospital (Charleston) was also invaluable and enabled me to fully recover use of my arm. Thank you, Dr. Bolano!

My son suffered an accident resulting in the severing of his flexor tendon. A plastic surgeon had performed two surgeries and his finger still wouldn't bend. Dr. Bolano performed a tendon transfer surgery which fixed my son's finger. I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Bolano and thankful to him.
