Dr. Lyle Marnin Back, MD

They stole $50.00 from my Brilliant Distinctions account and when I confronted the office, they said it was because it was going to expire in a few months. I paid in cash and instead of using my $50.00 credit from BD they took my money and also took my BD money out of my account. I would not recommend Dr. Lyle Back. Plus, he waters down his Botox, it doesn't last.

It has been a little over a year that I had a tummy tuck /recti diastastis repair. Dr Back has changed my life immensely. As nervous as I was he reassured me at every single appointment that everything would turn out great. I always felt confident of my body but after this I am even more so now. I can not stop looking at myself in the mirror. Dr Back, you were a true blessing from day one with all your honest opinions and suggestions. You prayed with me every visit including the actual day of surgery. Dr Back thank you for being so amazing during every step of my journey. Angelina C.

I needed to go to a second plastic surgeon for a revision. He told me Dr Back Gabe me “baseball scars” in front of my ears. I was so mortified for a year-I just wore my hair over my ears but people still saw the horrible scars-it wasn’t from the way I healed, it was a straight incision and no time or care was taken to hide the scar as others I know were stitched. Besides the poor technique, Dr Back has to have the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. I would suggest searching the Internet for comments by other disappointed patients. I never searched the web, I just knew his secretary. I was pushed to schedule immediately and my surgery was attended by the doctor and a tech! I was just mortified. I saw so many people when I went for post op appts with horrible complications and no one had anything good to say. I would recommend going to someone who cares and isn’t someone who has bad outcomes.

I found Dr. Back to be very pleasant initially. I went to see him regarding "impressions" in my chin. Before I knew it, I had filler and botox for other areas (my fault as I agreed). The botox actually exasperated the lines that I went to see him for originally (his own admission) and I now needed additional filler to fix my original problem. The area that was filled is uneven (I gave swelling almost two weeks to resolve) and I called to ask to try and book an appt. to have some removed. I was told that he never had to remove product and therefore would not have the product available. I asked if they could order it and I was told it would not arrive on time. I hardly believe that they could not get a product in a matter of 4 days in order to help a very unhappy patient. $2100 later and I am quite angry at the lack of care and concern. Go find yourself another Dr. he's certainly nice enough for as long as you don't need him to fix something that he did.

I am writing this review to warn anyone who is considering going under the knife of Dr. Back. I hope you don't have to deal with what I dealt with. I had a breast augmentation about a year and 5 months ago. Immediately after my surgery I noticed a double bubble (where the implant falls below the breast and droops, giving the effect of one bubble placed on top of another). After doing some research on my own (and about 8 months after my surgery) — I decided to go back to Dr. Back and see what was happening. He said there was nothing wrong and seemed offended that I would criticize his work. For me, visibly see there was something wrong. So, I went to 2 other doctors for a 2nd & 3rd option & they both agreed without question that what happened to me was a true double bubble caused by the way the implant was placed during surgery. I went back to Dr. Back to discuss & he finally admitted it was a double bubble. He claimed that I had gained weight — which was not the case (and… I'm not sure why that was part of the conversation as that wouldn’t cause a double bubble). He also suggested that I could not afford a corrective surgery. He also wanted to charge me to fix his mistake on top of what I paid for the original augmentations. A total of more than $13,000.00 to fix his error. Truthfully, I would never get back under the knife with him & I wish I never did in the first place.

Today I had an excision of a growth on my face. I found Dr. Back and his staff to be very professional and capable. There was absolutely no pain (ok, maybe a slight sting from the local). I would recommend him and his staff without hesitation or reservation. Thank you Dr. Back.

So unhappy with the results. Look worst know

Results from lipo of adomen and surrounding areas terrible. My upper and lower abdomen was uneven. Asked for a revision, he refused. I waited the yr as he recommended. Nothing changed. Had a 2nd procedure done. I am pleased with the results. It was torture going thru a yr as i did.

Lyle Back is an imposter. He should not have a medical license. I am a cancer survivor that wanted a fresh start. The scars he left are n nightmare. I just watched netflix about changing faces . Again , lyle back is an imposter
