Dr. Lynne Anne Wilk, MD

My son has a very complicated history of medical, neurological and psychiatric issues. We have been a patient of Dr Wilk for about 26 yrs. She has been a God send to us. Her expertise has not only helped with his psychiatric issues but has helped solve some of his major medical issues. Without her help and guidance, I doubt he would still be alive. We will surely miss her and she will be very difficult to replace

Gave me a diagnosis at intake of severe bipolar I w/ psychosis despite never having had a single manic or hypomanic episode or single episode of psychosis, except when on maximum doses of antidepressants. I have struggled for decades after accepting that diagnosis as truth, never getting anything but physical harm from the myriad bipolar treatments attempted. Recently evaluated for the first time as an adult by two different psychiatrists who have told me that bipolar diagnoses are -never- supposed to be given before adulthood and never without ensuring that manic/hypomanic symptoms aren't due to a current medication. My new diagnosis is major depressive disorder and PTSD, and because of this diagnosis and the lack of willingness of any subsequent psych MD to question why no bipolar drugs ever helped, I have lost almost all faith in psychiatry as any sort of serious science.

Dr Lynne A. Wilk M.D. Is a great doctor. She is SO kind and thoughtful. She taught me how to survive. Thank you.

Great knowledge of medications, treatment approaches. Helped me with long term as well as immediate problems. Accurately prescribed medications that helped with problems. And you can bring your dog with you to an appointment

Dr. Wilkes is a caring, knowledgable professional. She accurately diagnoses and prescribes medications as needed. She is not a Freudian but is a Cognitive/ behavioral therapist. Well trained. Particularly good with female patients with work problems.

I think dr L wilk Md. is rude and she needs to see a therpatist for counseling.

Dr. Wilke is very caring and understanding. She's an excellent listener, but also asks questions in a way that easily draws information out. I feel comfortable with Dr. Wilke and never feel like she is judging me. She has helped me examine my life, my past and my habits in a way that has really helped me to understand myself. I believe this has also helped me to gain confidence.
