After months of debilitating headaches, several times a day, I went to see Dr Kitaj. She asked excellent questions, ordered two tests found the cause, prescribed a medication and I have been headache free for three months! Dr. Kitaj saved me from chronic completely debilitating migraine headaches 11 years ago after consulting with a small army of other neurologists and MDs who prescribed ineffective treatments and/or were uncaring and condescending. Dr. Kitaj is caring, responsive, very approachable and concerned. Her staff is exceptional, especially Karen. (They actually answer the phone). Since I developed a facial pain problem, Dr. Kitaj has worked with me to explore new treatments over the years, not giving up on me as other physicians did in the past. I hope she never retires!
