Dr. Madhavi Medipally, MD

It was a great visit with Dr. Medipally.

I previously wrote a basic review about Dr. Medipally but I think she’s doing a good job now and since I can’t edit my first review I wanted to say that I’m happy with her going forward. My latest experience was a very pleasant one. She coached me on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and answered all my questions. I found her to be extremely patient caring and polite.

Ms. Medipally is an excellent physician, incredibly kind and is always willing to help patiently

I am a diabetic with rheumatoid arthritis with long-term neglect. I went to many physicians before but never got proper counseling or understanding about my problems. This physician explained my problem and process behind it so good, I will never neglect my health problems again. She was very empathetic when I explained all my problems and been nothing but excellent during my visit. I will definitely visit this doctor again.

My experience with Dr. Medipally was a very pleasant one. I visited her for my Physical. She patiently listened to all my problems and provided a great diagnosis. She guided me on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and answered all my questions regarding the same. I found her very diligent, polite and will continue visiting her for all my PHC appointments.

She was very courteous and professional during my physical. She has answered all my questions. I was a pleasant experience.

Don’t go here unless it’s your last resort. They refuse to call you back and when they finally do it’s at completely inappropriate times like 7pm. The receptionists have zero urgency and the doctors refuse to diagnose for some reason.

She was pleasant but I don’t think she even looked at me when she was questioning me about my history during my first visit with her. She was taking notes into her computer and I felt like I was talking to a robot and being judged by my answers instead of being helped. When I told her what I was concerned about she suggested drugs rather than asking why I felt like I did and getting to the root cause which I won’t do. It was very generic and robotic. My experience wasn’t anything like the last doctor I had the the same location for 20 years who sadly passed away. I will be looking for another primary care physician.

I met her today for a physical for the first time. I left the office so upset I forgot to stop and leave a urine sample on my way out. She was very unprofessional in the way she approached personal and potentially sensitive topics. I felt judged as I was answering personal questions I had never been asked my a doctor before and felt they should have never been asked in the first place, at least in the manner she did. She suggested I loose 15 pounds at the least and recommend I go for a run, which based on previous reviews I see is a trend. I am a female in my early 20s who by no means needs to loose 15 plus pounds. Her approach as a medical provider could have negative effected my self esteem, self worth and body image as well as caused unhealthy and dangerous habits. As someone who is not easily upset or effected by things such as this, I worry for her other patients who may have been more severely effected by her insensitive and inappropriate ways.

This doctor treated my friend’s child very poorly. He was in for a checkup and she incorrectly assumed that he was on psych meds because of his calm well behaved manner. She also told him he needed to lose weight in a very hurtful and rude manner. There are other professional ways of communicating this type of information. He is 6 years old and takes things adults say very seriously. He is a delightful curious child who is now obsessed with the idea that he is overweight. Adults in authority have tremendous power wielding even the most casual of comments like swords. Children remember sometimes for the rest of their lives a judgement that was passed upon them at an early age. She needs to question what the word “healer” means and if that is her true intent - or if it is simply a paycheck.
