Dr. Magalie Pierre, MD

So far i am 25wks along and love dr pierre and her staff.

I did not have a good experience at this appointment. She was late and rushed me through my appointment after I had waited over an hour to see her. I also had to wait an additional hour for an ultrasound. Her front office receptionist is rude and has no knowledge of anything going on in the office. To add on there is no tv in the waiting room while you wait.

Medical IncompetenceWhenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. I had to look for a long time before I finally found their qualifications. They need to make them more obvious. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer. They would not stop trying to make me take a type of medication that I knew didn't work for me. I have taken it in the past and yet they tried to push it on me relentlessly. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. Dr. Magalie Pierre Obstetrics & Gynecology, Augusta, Georgia- Lazy Doctor & Bad Medical Staff: I went to see Dr. Magalie Pierre, because I'm pregnant & I… wanted to see a good Gynecologist, but My visit there was a nightmare!!! The wait time was extremely long, it took 12 hours, for her to see me! And there was only one patient ahead of me the whole time.. Her staff does goof around, and I found it very unappropriate. So I decided to stop seeing her and go with another Gynecologist. I also wouldn't recommend anyone to her..

I absolutely love her. My experience overall has been great especially with complications just wish she would do a third ultrasound unfortunately I I didn't get s third one. Only thing I don't like is when appt is at 10 am, you wait about hour & half to be seen. I would definitely recommend her to anyone

I have visited Dr. Pierre several times to diagnose the source of a reoccurring pain. While having an ultra sound, the Dr. got a phone call on her personal cell phone. She answered it and proceeded to discuss paying a bill (from what I gathered.)I was appalled and disappointed and felt completely slighted. I can not trust her anymore because it seems she did not care about an issue I was having. This is not professional behavior. I will not return.
