Dr. Mahmoud Kabbani, MD

6 months ago when most Endocrinologists were scheduling a month or more out, I was able to get in Dr. Kabbani in a couple of days because he had just added a physician assistant . He was outstanding. I really appreciated his knowledge about African-Americans. As my daughter is part African-American. He was very detailed in his explanation and very caring. We went back to him last week for her six month follow-up. and all is clear. I highly recommend Dr Kabbani.

I had an appointment today and the secretaries never call me to tell me that they don't longer accept my insurance. So I drove 40min to get there for nothing.

Stop doing your research and just go see Dr. Kabbani! I had been taking my son to another area pediatric endocrinologist who frustrated me beyond words. It takes months to get an appointment with that other doctor (even for follow-up visits), yet we were able to get an appointment (after school!) with Dr. Kabbani within a week. Unlike the other ped endo, Dr. Kabbani took a significant amount of time talking to us, explaining his concerns, and describing the potential treatments depending on the results of the lab work results. After the lab results came back, Dr. Kabbani then called and spent 15 minutes describing what he learned and reassuring us. In contrast, the other ped endo refuses to explain anything until he has lab results (leaving you to fret for 2 weeks), and then he uses a "patient portal" to post those results and offer a few fragmented comments without a full explanation. With that other ped endo, the doctor-patient contact was as limited as possible, leaving me with… more questions than I arrived with. Dr. Kabbani is a smart man, spots the crux of the problem quickly, and he'll take as much time as you need to explain the intricacies. Dr. Kabbani was originally our "second opinion," but he will be the doc we will use in the future.

I appreciate the fact Dr. Kabbani doesn't drag his patients back to the office to discuss lab results or charges an additional fee if my child has a more complicated disease that requires more work than others. He truly cares for my child and spends amble time each visit educating and explaining what is happening with my child.

Dr. Kabbani and his staff at PEDC are awesome! I love how Dr. Kabbani takes care of my 3 children all with Type I diabetes. I have went to two pediatric endocrinologist before learning about him and their is no comparison. He is phenomenal! The way he explained diabetes to my children and how to live with it and still live a healthy and fun lifestyle was truly touching as well as effective! Thank you Dr. Kabbani. You are truly the best and my family are all grateful for your service!

I like Dr. Kabbani for most things. I do not like that when he orders blood work, I have to call the office, then they will have him review the labs and call me back. If the labs are out of normal and a change needs to be made and I do not call him, it is not taken care of as it should be. All our other dr's offices are able to call with labs, why can't he?

Dr. Kabbani is an excellent pediatric endocrinologist that took the time to explain what is happening with my child. My son was recently diagnosed with Type I Diabetes and he spent all the time we needed to explain what is Type I Diabetes and how to manage it. I was at ease after my son's office visit. If you need a pediatric endocrinologist that I highly recommend without hesitation Dr. Kabbani!

What a great doctor, more should have his bedside manner. He is thorough, gentle and takes the time to actually talk to the patient. He has been wonderful to my son.

If anyone needs to see a Pediatric Endocrinologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Kabbani. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain what is taking place. The best doctor I have ever seen!
