Don’t go to this doctor please if you care about your mental health look other places this guy doesn’t care he cut me off after two years of seeing a staff member there because he had an issue with his staff he doesn’t care about anyone but money you will feel worse about yourself going there

Dr. Okasha is truly an expert at what he does. He is attentive, kind, and truly listens. He is very genuine, and honest.

I have been going to this office since 2014. I couldn't be more happy. I drive all the way from westerly to see the doctor here and the staff is great as well. I use to see a doctor in Wakefield Rhode Island which was nothing but problems and I discovered this office when I lived in Connecticut. Besides having to up to the office I really cant complain.

From my experiences all of the negative reviews are accurate, as okasha could not remember my name and what ticked me off about it was his laptop he was using to type was right in front of him. He’s flat out rude, sessions never change, meaning he doesn’t seem to really figure out whether or not you need meds, if you want meds to take something go to this guy if you want meds to sell them go to doctor okasha. He’s got no business putting patients on drugs. He has doctors you see before him to talk to about your problems then you schedule an appt with okasha. None of them communicate with okasha apparently-you’ll realize this. He prescribes meds off the cuff

I wanted to say that this doctor is awful. Doesn't care about the elderly. Your in and out in ten minutes. Terrible. Doesn't even look at the patient when in the room. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

The only thing this " Doctor " cares about is money. After months of struggling with anxiety disorder and depression, with him doing nothing but staring at me, I left. No medication, no talking just staring at me! He is a horrible person and doctor.

I saw Dr. Okasha several years ago when I was severely depressed due my mother's death. He saw me only to write out prescriptions for antidepressants. He never disussed my issues, my feelings, my mental health; nor did he participate in any kind of "therapy" with me. Also, he always called me by the wrong first name! (I guess he never looked in my file and never had an interest in knowing ME as a patient). He had no idea who I was, what my story was, or what my problems were. He wanted simply to write prescriptions and send me off quickly to his office therapist for talk therapy. Remember the days when the psychiatrist him/herself actually took an interest in the patient's mental health? Lastly, he prescribed Paxil for me, which is the WORST antidepressant to take. It causes major side effects while you're on it, and the physical withdrawal when you wean off it is beyond horrid. Paxil is poison! He probably prescribed Paxil instead of another SSRI because he was getting kickbacks… from big Pharma for prescribing it. I would NOT recommend seeing this "doctor".

Dr. Okasha was easy to talk to, thoughtful and very thorough. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
