Dr. Malcolm Mounger Roland, MD

I always was taught to arrive earlier than your appointment time instead of being late out of respect for the doctor and staff. I arrived the usual 15 minutes prior to my appointment filled out updated information and was quickly call back to exam room. After nurse took my information and blood pressure (which was high) she said she would get my blood pressure manually to make sure it was correct ( by the way I was there for possible mini strokes). Nurse never came back, I sat there for an hour and 45 minutes before opening the door to see if Dr.Rowland forgot about me. All previous patients were gone. After another 10 minutes the nurse practitioner came in which I had no idea who she was. I told her my appointment was with Dr.Rowland. She let the room and again another 15 minutes went by before I decided it was time to go. I took off work, drove two hours to see this doctor. Where is his respect? I will be sending my bill to him for my time missed from my JOB!!!

Dr. Roland was really considerate of my fears and worries. Came in the room with a smile and a great personality. Nurse was awesome in talking me threw my questions on the procedure I was to get in the future. Very prompt in getting called back no long waiting periods.

Dr Roland took lots of time to work on a complicated case for my family. He explained things and sent us for referrals as needed. He seems very knowledgeable and caring. I think Oxford is blessed to have a Dr like this here.

The office staff is great, and willing to work with you and your insurance to advocate for treatment.Dr. Roland is personable and really wants to help. My case was an unusual one, and I think he did the best given the circumstances and symptoms I presented. I feel lucky to have such qualified staff in Oxford.
