Dr. Mallikarjuna Nallegowda, MD

He is very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. I have a lot of pain issues and he takes care of them all. I have seen him for years and appreciate him very much. I would recommend him to family and friends.

I am now seeing Dr. Nallegowda at his new office. He continues to be very considerate and thoughtful about treating my chronic pain. He discusses alternatives with great knowledge and helped guide me to my pain treatment of choice. He listens closely and treats you with respect.

I have been seeing Dr. Nallegowda at the Pain Management Clinic for over 2 years now. I have been very impressed with how treats me as an individual and not just “one of those people wanting pain medication.” He seems to truly care about helping you decrease the pain so you can work and carry on normal daily functions with as little pain as possible. My back disease progressed while I was under his care and he got me in with a great neurosurgeon. Now I am weaning down on my pain meds and hope to get off them. He has been supportive through each stage of my care. His office staff, from the front desk to the nurses, is all helpful and efficient. The clinic experience all round has been great.

Dr. would not see me in time after other Dr lost his practice. I begged them to get me in as I was very sick from withdrawals from opiates I had been taking for 10 years. Finally did see him and was not impressed. No-one ever answers the phone and got a call back from medical assistant only after complaining to another Dr's asst. Was promised a call back the next day, no-one ever called. I have been suffering for 4 days. I will be filing a formal complaint today if I do not get a call from the doctor. And by the way, I don't want opiates, am glad to be off them.

Absolutely under no circumstances would I ever recommend Dr. Mallikarjuna Nallegowda to anyone I care about, or hate for that matter! He was so unprofessional, unprepared, and extremely rude! Unfortunately, My sweet and caring 85 year old grandmother was somehow "referred" to this "doctor!" My grandmother who has suffered from chronic pain for nearly 16 years and has been on pain meds for 14. She has never refilled a script early, never has she ran out, nor has she switch doctors (doctor shopped). In fact she broke her pelvis and instead of going to the hospital she tried to be strong and work it out! She hates to "put anyone out." She has never complained a day in her life about her daily struggles with pain. She has had 3 hips surgeries in less than 6 months. Broke her femur and laid on the kitchen floor for 8 hours. She broke her pelvis, her ribs and has had multiple back surgeries. She suffers from osteoporosis, arthritis, back fractures, just had hand surgery this week. She also… survived a horrible car accident with an 18 wheeler where BOTH of her knees were shattered and had multiple surgeries on her knees. She had a double mastectomy and is a breast cancer survivor on top of all of this. He was very rude and unprofessional and made my poor grandmother feel like she was a "criminal". Refused to see her again, didn't even go over her health history and was incredibly dismissive. My 85 year old grandmother accidentally forgot to bring her pain medication and in turn he thought and I quote from his own words she was "pulling one over on him". My father has been a doctor for over 40 years and could not believe how she was treated. Under no circumstances should you or anyone you know go see this doctor. She even agreed to drive 45 miles back to her house, grab her medication and drive another 45 miles to his office, to prove she has her pain medication with not one pill missing. Again, he was dismissive and said "I don't want to get into that." Disgusting behavior. This was just her consultation with him, great first impression right?

Saw this doctor today at his new location. I have been seeing other doctors in corwin before, the front desk is ok, i liked the previous more but the doctor was great. I had reservations initially, i wasn't interested in answering to his questions, i was used to getting my medications and get away soon. i had no idea things will be so different today. I wondered why he kept asking my history, details. He actually took time to discuss some things with me, i slowly started realizing and discovered that i was going towards xxx i hate to use this word(addiction)! I argued with him but he was so calm and made me realize. I appreciate his patience, I can't forget he said u have a good life and a great family, enjoy your life. He also said u don't need unnecessary medications, i will give it only if i see the need for it . He is strict, LOL But I am so glad and greatful that someone made me realize and motivated to choose what is right for me.

I have been seeing this Dr for past 4 years and he is sympathetic to my pain. He listens to me and i have recommended him to my friends and family. Pueblo city and surrounding area has so much drug addicts problems, it's better not to tell the Dr what to do and what to prescribe.

I saw this doctor 3 times; the first time was pretty basic just asking about my pain and making a plan of what we can do to help it. 2nd one was much different; I was trying to told him how I injured myself, he basically said it was nonsense and that I was just trying to get painkillers (I haven't had been prescribed painkillers since getting my wisdom teeth removed 7 years ago.) I ended up just listening to him and doing what he asked; I got an injection into my back for pain then I got a letter saying something along the lines that he came to the conclusion that I was an addict just trying to get meds despite my MRI clearly showing what was wrong with my back. I went one last time and basically just told him I was going to find a new physician because the way he treated me specifically was just absurd. Would never recommend this doctor.

He is treating for my back pain, best pain doctor in the town, we are glad to have him. It's hard to find doctor like him.

2 weeks since I first saw the doctor and the paperwork still isn't done by the doctor so staff can submit it to the insurance company so I can get a pain injection.
