WOW, I can't believe it. I loved this man; his compassion, caring and outstanding medical treatment was extraordinary...truly one of a kind Does anyone know what Dr. was recommended for Dr Veloso's patients? I was his patient for 25+ years and moved out of the area in 2008, now returning. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

It's very sad that Dr. Veloso decided not to re-open his practice after Hurricane Sandy. It's a huge loss for all of his patients. I had been a patient of his for many years and will miss him. I've spoken to other former patients who feel devastated as well. He listened, cared and you could trust him completely. He is not a Dr. that you can replace.

I was recommended to Dr. Veloso as "The Best Gyn in Long Island". He has lived up to that title. Dr. Veloso is a kind and caring doctor who asks plenty of questions, is gentle and thoughtful, and most of all who stays up-to-date with the latest diagnostic equipment, research on medical conditions and treatments, as well as surgeries. He remembers and relates to each of his patients, not only as physical patients, but as people-- and is as concerned about the overall wellness of the individual as he is with specific body bits. I travel throughout the states and abroad, but only trust Dr. Veloso with my Gyn health care. He is a highly-sought-after doctor, so book your appointment early. He is worth the wait!
