Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, MD

He is a scammer that try’s to pry cash out of his patients or he will not refill your meds. He says he accepts your insurance then the day before your appointment he tells you to pay a large amount of cash or he will not see you when the visits are suppose to be covered by your insurance with just a small copay. He also runs unnecessary lab test because he owns the lab that he uses and it makes him extra money. He tried to say i had 4 appointments when i have only seen him twice. He never did anything to help my issue but send lab work to the lab he owns. He also tested me for covid and waited a week after he got results to tell me I’m positive. Complete scammer, stay away from him.

Let me start by saying that I believe Dr Ahmed and his staff really means well and that they truly care about their patients wellbeing. But, his bed side manners could really use some work! I was not looking to make a new friend when I was going to Dr Ahmed but it was usually bare minimum questions or comments about your visit. Rarely a “hey”, “how are you doing “, “have a good day “, “good by” or even a “kiss my a$$”. Usually the wait was well over an hour mostly two hours sometimes longer. The ladies assisting him were always busy and doing their best to get patients in and out but again he just seemed clueless. Also learned that, not only is there 3-4 or however many FMRC but other medical facilities that he owns and works at, talk about overwhelming (but that’s just my opinion, more power to him). If you do decide to go with Dr Ahmed and FMRC, don’t be in a hurry and looking for a conversation about your health, or much of anything.

This has to be the worst doctors office I have ever seen first let's start with their intake process the so-called interview that was scheduled for me was simply just filling out paperwork In the dirty waiting room I should have known better but I went ahead and scheduled my appointment that wasn't until three weeks later. Then I received a call morning of my appointment that wasn't until later that afternoon telling me I missed my appointment the previous day for which I had no appointment and my appointment for that day... The staff is unprofessional and disorganized .... Not to mention questionable... No amount of pain would send me back to these morons

I feel that I had to wait to long in this office for my appointment. The office was very HOT as if they had no Air conditioning. His staff was very short with me and rude. The doctor is very nice, but he needs new staff that knows what they are doin? It is obvious they have no expereince, and just there for a paycheck:

Spent over 35 minutes revieiwing my case on my first visit. The next visit, spent quite a bit of time ensuring that the pain medication he administered took proper effect.
