After receiving unfortunate results from a prostate biopsy out of state I was in a hurry to establish a relationship with a urologist here in RDU. Luckily, Dr. Benevides was available the next day so I signed up. The Dr. in Wyoming who did the biopsy offered to talk to and fax my full information package to Dr. Benevides. whose nurses were willing to deal with that. This allowed Dr. B to receive and review my case in advance of my appointment. Dr. B was extremely friendly and open to my questions, concerns, and issues. His approach to resolving prostate cancer issues (radical surgery) did not seem appropriate in my case but he was very open to discussing the other possibilities that I was researching. He also offered follow-up conversations and interactions to assist me in the continuation of my treatment. He referred me to the most appropriate treatment center in the area for follow up. Overall I would say that Dr. Benevides provided excellent, timely, and caring services… and I'd give him the highest rating.

The Doctor was great, he spent time with me and explained everything, he even ask to speak with my wife to make sure all questions were answered. I would highly reccomend him to my friends.
