Dr. Marc Daniel Silver, MD

Worst orthopedic surgeon I’ve used. Did a TNK in late 2021. Although the knee was constantly swollen and red, he told me the issue was lack of PT. After one year, I decided to consult another surgeon. This surgeon quickly aspirated the knee. The finding was a severe staph infection. Staph infections are not rare after orthopedic surgery. In any case, three more surgeries were require to stabilize the infection. I’m left with permanent weakness in the leg and cannot walk well. Be careful, if you choose this doctor

I truly cannot believe what happened in the consultation I had with Dr. Silver. I have hip dysplasia on both sides. With this condition (which is operable, by the way), labral tears will occur and can happen again and again if the hip dysplasia isn't corrected. When he and I met, not only did he NOT mention the hip dysplasia on both sides, he offered to perform surgery for my labral tears...AGAIN, THAT SURGERY IS POINTLESS IF I HAVE HIP DYSPLASIA. The tears will keep happening. Seriously, so disappointed.

Dr Marc Silver has done surgery on my knee and finger. He has treated wrist, fractured knee, shoulders, ankles and put me back together each time better than the day before. His bed side manner is truly amazing. I only will use Dr Silver for any my needs

He listens and his intuition is fabulous. A great doctor and a nice, patient person as well. I was able to get great results and a really good recovery from a very serious injury and am happy he's my doctor.

Dr. Silver did my AC resection surgery. Smoothest surgery I've ever had. He's a great surgeon and a great guy. Highly recommended.

Marc Silver (Dr.) was my only option...at one point I thought my "last option". I was diagnosed with "SNAPPING SCAPULA SYNDROME"...it was no help being diagnosed with this when I could not find a single NJ. Through my extensive web-research I'd found that Dr. Marc Silver along with another doctor were doing cutting edge this with "SNAPPING SCAPULA SYNDROME" while the pair of doctors were at Yale Med School. I had to have a number of procedures done by Dr. Silver...it was all quite painful, but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat it it was with Dr. Silver. The care and time that Marc showed and gave was remarkable. Marc's father, who is deceased, was the Chief Surgeon in one of the larger hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. I think the late Dr. Silver would be more than proud to see his son taking such good care of his patients. Marc never seemed to be bothered by the money...where I've had very different reactions by many other doctors over the years. Marc was more interested… in getting me back onto the mound and possibly pitch again. Marc was also superior at making you feel comfortable with the entire process.
