Several years ago, I was experiencing pain at my stomach. After a few tests/scans, Dr. Gertner determined that I had a tumor at my ileocecal valve, and recommended an ileocecectomy. Surgery was scheduled, and the recovery was fast. I have not experienced any issues since. I found Dr. Gertner to be frank, honest and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was in a lot of pain and needed to see a surgeon ASAP, Dr. Gertner was able to see me the same day I called his office. He is a very good and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gertner is one of my favorite doctors because he is thorough. Difficult diagnosis do not cause him to step back; he pulls out all the stops to ensure he acquires the right diagnosis; As a surgeon he is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and well connection in the health professional community. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gertner to anyone who is willing to follow his counsel and do their part to resolve health issues.

The entire staff is super helpful... I was referred to Dr. Gertner by my general doc to follow up on some breast issues. To say he's been phenomenal would be an understatement... He doesn't ignore anything! Which was VERY important for me based on medical history. He explores every option, doesn't leave any stone unturned and tries his best to get to the bottom of the issue. He calls personally to follow up after procedures and to give test results... I can't stress enough how awesome he is. My journey with him continues... I trust him totally after seeing 4 other breast specialists who I felt like did not listen to my concern based on my age, he did.... and he found abnormalities that I'm sure would have been ignored, ad they had been if he wasn't the awesome doctor he is...

The good DR. noticed my birthday was on groundhogs day, most Drs. barely notice your name! Great doctor great sence of humor. I called at 9:30 am was in a great amount of pain,I was seen in the office at 1:30 pm! Informative, professional. A doctor from days gone bye.Need more like him.

My experience with Dr. Gertner was nothing short of excellent. Thanks to Dr. Gertner's successful surgery I was able to recover much sooner than what I expected and get back to my daily life's activities. His respectful, caring, and professional demeanor surpasses most of his peers and I would recommend Dr. Gertner as one of the best surgeons in the area.
