Dr. Marc Jason Levine, MD

I was referred to see an orthopaedic physician by my primary. As soon as he walked into the exam room he looked me up and down and must have made up his mind that I was looking for meds. He didnt listen to me at all and talked to me in a condescending tone, offered me no sympathy or insights. When your going through a health crisis this is the last thing you need, very upsetting. Do yourself a favor and see another doctor.

Dr. Levine is the ABSOLUTE best spinal surgeon in this metropolitan area. He literally SAVED my life twice. In 2009, my lower back disc was buldging and pressing on my sciatic nerve. I went with his recommendation and opted for surgery. I 100% felt like a new person. In 2013, my neck disc blew out pinning nerves against my spinal cord. I immediately contacted Dr. Levine and in 4 days I was in surgery. I felt 100% better. If you follow his instructions and do the regimen for physical therapy and wear the appropriate gear as instructed you will heal 100%. I trust him with my life!

I can walk again. I can feel my feet. Im.not falling down everywhere. I have nerves n feeling . He has done so much for me...I would Go again n do not regret what he did to my spine. He helped my have a life again.

I went to him with a herniated disc and constant pain . After extensive testing and explaining all my options, we went with surgery and now I am totally pain free.

Very smug, quickest doctor visit ever. On his own agenda...didn't listen to one thing I told him...in a big hurry to get out of there. Go to someone else!

Caring surgeon even took time to personally call me after surgery.

Dr. Levine has far too many patients that he rushes to get through. Very disapointed from the surgery and even more, very disapointed by his lack of concern about my condition. There are far better surgeons out there than this guy.

Guys like Dr. Levine are hired guns for insurance companies, usually Workers Comp. Had I been able to see a regular surgeon, I would have received an accurate diagnosis and proper surgery. But since my injury occurred at work, I had to see Dr. Levine. In talking to other surgeons after my surgery, they all shake their heads when I tell them about my experience with him. It's a shame that stuff like this is allowed to happen.

Several years post lumbar surgery, I am worse off than ever. Dr. Levine gave me the "run around" for a very long time about my condition. Had I gone to another doctor who gave me proper treatment, I'm sure I'd be far better off today. I also never trusted Dr. Levine and felt he was more concerned about how he'd benefit, rather than my health.

I wont and can't tell anybody else what to do in regard to their health. All I can do is recommend to others, is to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Levine. My personal opinion is that Dr. Levine has alteriative motives that he places above his patients health.
