Dr. Marc Andrew Judson, MD

My wife was diagnosed with sarcoidosis by our physician, following more than a dozen tests at St. Peter's Hospital. Our doctor sent the records to Dr. Judson's office and received no response. A week later our doctor sent the records again. They did not call, so I called them and learned that the scheduling secretary was away for several days. I called again the following week and was told that Dr. Judson is "50 patients behind" and needed to review all records before any appointment could be scheduled, to determine whether an appointment was necessary. I pointed out that we had already been diagnosed and tests had already been done and that our physician had referred my wife for treatment. I was told that 50 other patients were in line before my wife's records were received, and she would have to wait until they were all reviewed before her records would be looked at to see whether she needed an appointment or not. I asked how long it would take, and was told at least two… weeks. My wife is having trouble seeing, and having joint pain and trouble breathing. She is afraid that her health is deteriorating, and confused because our doctor referred her for treatment, but Dr. Judson's office is not even able to review her records to determine whether she needs an appointment.

I saw Dr. Judson a year ago to get a second opinion for my sarcoidosis. I felt he was stern at first but as the apt went on he was so kind. He didn’t rush me out, he explained what exactly sarcoidosis is and he answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with him! I stongly advise anyone in the area that has sarcoidosis and wants more help to make an apt with him!

I have sarcoidosis and have been seeing Dr. Judson for about 7 years. Prior to that I had been treated for the effects with marginal success but not for the sarcoids themselves. I can't say enough good about him: he listens, treats me with respect, is honest about the prognosis, and has given me a good quality of life. He likes to communicate by email and always responds promptly. And most amazing, he places his own phone calls, as if my time is as important as his (it's not!)

Dr. Judson was very personable, pleasant,informative,very knowledgeable and kind. This was my first visit with him and I was quite pleased. He made me feel comfortable and above all I feel that I can trust his opinion. That is such a relief. I know that this is tacky however, he is also very handsome.
