Dr. Marc Ira Storch, MD

I've been a patient for more than 4 years now, with monthly visits. I could not be more pleased to have a doctor who both knows and cares about more than just prescribing meds. Dr. Storch and his staff have always been kind, compassionate and respectful, so that I always feel valued and appreciated. In combination with his specialty, Dr. Storch has been a wonderful resource for information, advice and encouragement regarding general fitness and nutrition, which has empowered me to take charge of my health far past the appointments and medication. I cannot recommend him and his staff highly enough and wish all doctors behaved similarly, as we would be a much healthier, happier nation for it.

Avoid this ill informed "Dr." If at all possible. Hopefully he will retire with his fortune before he hurts anyone else.

I had very high levels of RA until I met Dr. Storch. I have only had positive experiences with Dr. Storch. All this negativity is very unfair and not warranted.

rheumatologist. Let me preface by saying that I don't really write reviews, and I go to a ton of doctors. I feel strongly enough to help other people to avoid this so-called "dr." Let me share the experience we had. We went in for a follow up appointment. Please note that this is still COVID-19. We waited for 30 min in an office that had a desk, Xray screen, food and microwave, and a chair to examine patients. There were hundreds and hundreds of files with patients' personal information and files all over the office! I easily could have taken any of them and no one would have noticed. Why didn't they have us wait in the car and call when they are ready, like every other dr. during COVID? Then, office workers came into this office (within 6 ft of where we sat) getting snacks while we are still waiting for the dr. He comes in, and is reviewing the info for the first time (why didn't he do this before he made us wait 30 min). He proceeds to dictate himself into the computer,… instead of having an assistant help with this. At the end, we got a prescription for a stronger version of Advil. Then the bills come in at $700 with insurance. I called the office manager to ask for a payment plan. First, she doesn't return my call. I called a second time and she said to call her back another day. I said, "Why don't you call me when you can?" She said, "It would be easier for you to call me." I call her again another day. I told her my concerns about HIPPA compliance, the treatment we had. Granted she is his wife, she defended everything that happened there saying this is how doctors are, they have the right to store files wherever they want. They don't do payment plans. Why isn't this stated when you fill out the paperwork initially? She wasn't willing to work with me AT ALL. The conversation was all about her, how she waits 3 hours for doctors, how she sees files in doctors' offices all the time. There is no patient service here at all. BUYER BEWARE! I reported him to my insurance and to the US Dept of Health for the way he treats patients personal information.

I started with Dr. Storch back when he was affiliated with an associate in the old Princeton Hospital location. He decided to go into his own practice and for the convenience of his Princeton patients, he got into the Hillsborough office. Over the years the Hillsborough office looked like a trash heap, especially the blood draw room. The people who started out working with him were great, but I think they were dissatisfied and moved on. I was not happy with the attitudes of the ones who replaced them, really rude and unpleasant. As time went on I noticed a difference in Dr. Storch's level of patience and attention. The final straw was the total disorganization and confusion when the office changed over from bulky paper files to electronic files, booking and notes. It seemed like it really fell apart and it was like as a patient I fell through the cracks. It took me months to have a refill on my Enbrel Rx and to receive scripts for blood work. Finally, I gave up and found… another doctor. I left several messages and the last one proved I was very aggravated and unhappy with their response. The telling point was that I finally got the paper work I needed mailed out to me but it was in a plain envelope with my address and his return address handwritten and it was in his handwriting!!! Obviously, staff disappeared and he was doing stuff on his own. Made me wonder. Now that I am reading all of these comments I can tell it really went downhill inside of late 2018 when I had my last appointment through 2019.

I’ve known Dr Storch for close to 30 years. He used to be a great diagnostician and a kind doctor. The antithesis is true now. He somehow and somewhere lost his empathy along the way. He no longer cares if you’re in pain or if you need to see him in an emergency. He simply doesn’t care. It’s obvious that he doesn’t care about his patients any longer. What a shame because he used to be my favorite doctor. It seems all he’s interested in is his religion and those patients who share that religion. It’s not even hidden. He is obvious about it. I’m a business exec and have never felt so dismissed by a doctor before. Dr Rosenheck was fine when my husband was alive, but when he died, Dr Storch became somehow uninvolved with my issues. His office in Hillsborough is a mess. The room in which they take bloodwork is filthy and strewn with old casting material and out of date machinery. His X-ray room is antiquated and not nearly up to date with current medical… equipment. And his X-ray tech seems to have been trained by the doctor rather than in a certified X-ray tech school. The receptionists and office staff are rude, dismissive and unorganized. There are papers everywhere and consequently these ladies can’t find anything. After being double billed and/or balanced billed for the second time I called his billing department. I expected an apology but instead I got “never mind” “it as a mistake” like it happens all the time. The third time I was overbilled I called and told them I’d never be back.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Marc Storch. He is knowledgeable, businesslike, and has helped me tremendously with osteoporosis. He is a fine doctor.

Awful, dismissive doctor. Full of himself and condescending. The staff is clueless and interrupts the doctor frequently with questions during the middle of appointments.

This doctor should be ashamed to even be in practice. He is rude and doesn't know what is going on behind the scenes. The office staff are incompetent; his son, wife Karen as well as Gail. She is the most rude person I've dealt with. She talks about the doctor and the lack of quality working for a doctor who has a crazy wife. She slams chats on the desk as she proclaims "I can't take this place anymore" while she argues with Karen at the front window. My appointment was scheduled six months ago and I was told I was not on the schedule! Than Gail rudely spoke with me to tell me thy had a cancellation and I could wait as if she were doing me a favor. While I was in the exam room with the doctor, hi wife kept coming in/out interrupting the appointment I felt unheard and walked away with the same questions I had prior to my appointment.. There was a woman in the waiting room telling us all of how her mother has not received he medication in months and is in severe pain because the… doctor didn't order it. It is quite the comedy show while you're waiting an hour and a half to see Mr. Storch. I think Dr. Storch needs to be in the front more often to see what truly goes on. He needs to retire!

I showed up for my appointment that I scheduled six weeks earlier since that was the first available and they didn't have me scheduled. They said they were changing from hand scheduling to a computer. Wow, it's 2018 after all why were they writing appointments in a book? The office was a mess with patient files in plain view with names visible. The waiting room was small and cluttered. The receptionist was short with me and not pleasant at all even though they made the mistake. She was also rude to a few callers who called while I was waiting for them to figure out why I didn't actually have an appointment. I just made an appointment with another doctor and will not come back to this practice ever again.
