Dr. Marc Mitchell Treihaft, MD

I went through a battery of expensive inconclusive neurological tests (not all covered by my insurance), with a final recommendation of a brain CAT scan, only to find out by another physician that I had bone-on-bone severe osteoarthritis. I have recently undergone two complete hip replacements, and am finally on the mend. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with any kind of diagnosis I received from Dr. Treihaft. He cost me time and money. And, to top it off, his receptionist Diana is without a doubt the most rude, non-patient focused individual I've ever encountered in the healthcare industry. Awful!

Dr. Treihaft clearly does not understand how quickly ALS can progress. He gave my husband no follow up care or suggestions until too late. And the clinic he finally referred us to was worthless. Too little too late. These "specialists" need to study up on ALS.

I need to see a neurologist on the spot and Dr. Treihaft was very accommodating and was able to see me that day and the next at the Steadman clinic.

Been a patient for 20 yrs and no reason to change.

Great bedside manner exceptional people interactions

Dr. Treihaft quickly referred us to a hospital for a MRI and EEG with a 5 minute examination in his office and when the results came back normal (which we were advised of on the phone) he insisted that we needed a follow up in his office for him to tell us again the results were normal in a 3 minute visit after waiting 20 minutes. 2 - $60 co-pays for 8 minutes of advice, no thank you. It is obvious he is just in a hurry to move on to the next patient so he can generate more money.

From a patient standpoint he was friendly but I knew more about his family at the end of the visit than he knew of my medical problem

A came into Dr. Triefaft's office with an eyelid drooping, difficulty swallowing and difficulty speaking. He looked at me and said, "I know what you have. I have seen lots of patients with it. I think I can help you. I'm glad you came to see me. I have myasthenia gravis. It's very rare. This doctor is great. He had the problem managed

He has such a caring and complete manner in assessing medical problems. He is the best!
