On my initial visit with Dr. Zelkowitz he impressed me with his professionalism, ease of communication, and thoroughness in reviewing my history and making recommendations.

Dr Zelkowitz is thorough and does not hesitate to fully respond to your questions. His knowledge of issues associated with kidney problems is vast. Dr Zelkowitz promotes a patient/physician dialogue which results in a favorable relationship. His practice is highly recommended.

Dr Marc is the best of the best great bedside manners takes time to listen and also make sure he explains where you can understand all the medical terms his office staff is the nicest of all the doctor offices I’ve ever been too once I get totally well I’m going to hate not to have appointments but I’ll still go by and visit

This was my first visit with Dr Zelkowitz. I was immediately put at ease by his friendliness and bedside manner. He is a good listener and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very thorough and seems compassionate. I would highly recommend him.

My initial consultation with Dr. Zelkowitz was quite a positive experience. I saw Dr. Zelkowitz in his Englewood office this past week due to having concerns over my kidney health. I have extensive experience with filling out patient questionaries and found Bergen Kidney's version somewhat extensive, yet covering much more patient related detail then most other practices which was a major plus. I was called into the exam room without too much of a wait. Dr's medical assistant reviewed my med list, documented my vitals, and assured me that Dr. Zelkowitz would be in to see me soon. Within 15 minutes or so, Dr. Zelkowitz entered the room, introduced himself and began to discuss my case. It was not long at all before I became aware that Dr. Zelkowitz had taken the time to research my medical history prior to this office visit. Frankly, I became very impressed with the level of detail he had extrapolated from my other physicians. That history, combined with an easy exchange of dialogue,… served to provide Dr. with an accurate assessment of me as a patient. Dr. demonstrated patience with regard to permitting me to openly explain my various surgeries and current care all of which is of utmost important to me. Clearly, Dr. Zelkowitz possesses strong academia regarding kidney health and care, outlining for me a plan of care and establishing a series of tests that would be needed to make further long-term care decisions. Prior to ending our consult, I did, in fact, feel understood, was given the opportunity to express myself, and came away with a degree of confidence I had lacked earlier. At this time, I am looking forward towards working with Dr. Zelkowitz towards improving my kidney health. Dr. Zelkowitz is highly recommended to other patients who require a skilled Nephrologist who will not hesitate to be thorough and detail oriented.

What can I say he is what doctors should be,very caring a doctor that cares about his patients. He takes care of my father’s in law 91 years old so is very very happy about Dr Z.
