Dr Harris has been my Gyn for many years. My daughter is now 25 and Dr Harris was my obstetrician. She is very thorough and will tell you the truth like or not . She is even very interested in you total wellness. I wish she was a family Dr as well but I can truly say I have described sypmtoms to her after seeing my family Dr and not feeling comfortable with what the Dr says and she would Simply say to get a second opinion because she cannot diagnose and sure enough I did that and got a correct diagnosis. She may be a little on the rough side but that has helped me because it keeps me on point with my weight especially when I have an appt with her as all she wants is for me to be healthy. She doesn't take my I surance but I do not have a problem paying cash.

Beware! Even after explaining that my tolerance to pain is low, this doctor gave me 2 endometrial biopsies without a local! The most excruciating experience I can ever remember. Additionally, when questioned during a follow up visit she yelled "this is cancer!" Unbelievable - I have never been so abused by a medical staff member in my life--she has serious anger issues.

This doctor recommended me for a procedure just to get the money. She Never took the time to determine if I really needed it or not. I took her advice and had her do the procedure and now I am totally displeased I have pains and complications that I never had until she performed the procedure.

If you're more comfortable & impressed by a doctor that covers up lack of expertise with schmoozing bedside manner, Dr Harris is not for you. She's a brilliant, no nonsense, old-school practitioner that takes time with each patient and really listens and gets the relationship between good nutrition and wellness. Time with patients means that I wait too, its annoying at times but I am in excellent hands with her.
