Dr. Redwood never listened to me when I told her I wanted to see an ENT doctor (eyes, nose, & throat). I had difficulty breathing and consistently ignored my symptoms

Dr. Redwood diagnosed me with an adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety and depressed mood without sharing this information with me. Turns out one of the medications she prescribed for my allergic rhinitis is linked to depression, headaches, pain, and muscle and stomach pain. These symptoms which are also side effects of the medication prescribed were disregarded as a chemically induced situation and instead treated like the symptoms occurred naturally. I am disappointed that Dr.Redwood diagnosed me with a Mental disorder without sharing this information with me. Thankfully the psychiatrist she referred me to assessment results concluded that I do not have a disorder. Worst part is I discovered this information only because I was able to read my medical records almost 3 years after the initial diagnosis by Dr.Redwood.

I don't know why people get on here a leave such hidious comments about Dr. Redwood or the Watson Wellness center. I think they're the best and they are for the people of african american community. We just have to learn patience and respect for one another. The Dr's are seeing alot of people and that takes time. So tell yourself the expected wait time will be 2 -3 hours and to bring lunch,a book and just chill and watch TV. They're doing the best serving us, so stop the complaing and madness people dang! That's what is wrong with us now, we complain to much. Anyways a blessed shot out to The Watson Wellness Center and Dr. Redwood yaaaaay
