Dr. Marcos Ramiro Lamas, MD

I have seen Dr. Lamas twice. I wouldn't have seen him the second time, except a nurse there that I like a lot said he's really smart, maybe it was an off day and I should give him another go. I wish I hadn't. After getting the runaround from his office and not getting my insulin for 3 months, his appointment finally comes. He blamed the office and said that he can't do anything about it. Each department has its job and he just has time for his patients. No apology, just finger pointing. Then he asks which pharmacy I use I tell him (I also had a form I filled out) and he sends my scripts to a different pharmacy. I have used the same pharmacy for 25 years, long before his office. I should also mention that on the first visit he spent 90%of the visit with his face in his laptop. Then he simply says I had your file right here and I just can't find it. I don't want to tell you wrong, but I'm quite sure you were misdiagnosed and we need to get you off the meds we prescribed, they have made… you worse. I can't believe no one told you. This is what you have. I'm out of time. He then just walks out. No answered questions, no nothing. So I now have had to call every day to try to straighten out the pharmacy situation and here we are on Friday and another week with no insulin. He's a peach I tell you. So if you want a I can't care less doctor he's your guy.

Dr. L. is totally focused on the patient. Very bright, nice guy.
