Dr.Maldonado is the most compassionate and intelligent doctor that I had the pleasure of meeting. He was the first doctor to diagnose me with Lupus. We had our ups and down trying different treatments but at the end he found the treatment and relief I was looking for..It's a shame he has moved out of state. I find myself struggling to find someone with his expertise and knowledge. I am about to run out of my medication for lupus and my new Rheumatologist told me Dr.Maldonado misdiagnosed me I don't have lupus. I know I do have it!! I need you Dr. Maldonado because I feel I'm on the road to disaster and pain again. So sad you are not practicing anymore..I'm truly lost without him..Don't know what's going to happen with my life and health

I found Dr. Maldonado by goggling rheumatologists in Aventura area. When I came across his reviews I was overwhelmed what patients wrote. After going to him and still going, all the reviews were so true. Dr. Maldonado is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He takes whatever time you need and never rushes you out like most doctors. I am so glad I not only found him but he has helped me so much. He is the best

Dr. Marcos E. Maldonado is a very caring, committed and very skilled Rheumatologist. I have been seeing him for two years. He has helped me to avoid complications of my illness tremendously. His diagnosis was right on target after running the appropriate tests. I highly recommend him.

DR MALDONADO IS THE BEST DR IN THE WORLD. WHEN EVERY OTHER DR MISDIAGNOSED ME, DR MALDONADO DIAGNOSED ME PROPERLY. I AM LEFT WITH PERMANENT DAMAGE BECAUSE THE OTHER DRS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. AFTER SEEING DR MALDONADO, I AM IN TREATMENT AND DOING A LITTLE BIT BETTER. He has been my Rheumatologist for over 5 years. He is the most caring and knowledgable doctor. Will take the time to search every medication he gives you to make sure it doesn't confilict with another one. He sits down and listens to you. I mean really listens to you! And then he tells you what he thinks he does't do what some other docs do that drive you crazy the "WHAT DO YOU THINK?" He tells you what you have wrong and what to do. He is amazine! The office staff is horrible you just have to put up with that portion to get to him but it is worth it.

I WAS REFERRED TO THIS DR. BY MY PULMONARY DR. I WAS MISDIAGNOSED BY MANY INCLUDING HOSPITAL STAYS.I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG MEDICINE AND DIAGNOSED WITH FIBRO. WELL, I DIDN'T HAVE FIBRO.THE FIRST TIME I MET THIS DR, ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS LOOK AT MY HANDS, FEET, AND SQUEEZE A FEW AREAS AND HE DIAGNOSED ME, AND HAD ME TAKE XRAYS.THE XRAYS CONFIRMED. I HAD PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS, THE MOST PAINFUL THING I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.I JUST STARTED ON THE CORRECT MEDICINE AND IN 2 DAYS I DIDN'T THINK I WAS SICK.THIS DR. HAS GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER, AND IS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE, WONDERFUL.
